Aim Down Sights in Destiny, yay or nay?

I'm fairly certain everyone has seen the vidoc and in certain parts you see gameplay portions with what looks like scopes atop the weaponry. This could mean we are finally moving away from the old aiming which consisted of just aiming and firing instead going towards having sights. Personally i like this idea as i like the ability to customize sights to my preferences and it feel more realistic-which looks good for what appears to be a gritty sci-fi game. But what do you think?

No. If I wanted to play Call of Duty, I would play Call of Duty.

Nope. Still looks like classic aiming mechanics. Judging by the reticule, that is.

      • I'm alright with either one. I love the way halo works and I also love the way modern ADS type of games work.

      • I say yay. Shooting can feel outdated and clunky without Iron sights in gaming nowadays.

      • I'd like to have ADS and Smart Link Scopes for guns, the way everyone can enjoy the best of both worlds!

      • I can see it working if its like Halo's BR or DMR with a fullscreen zoom, but I wouldn't like it on every weapon, perhaps just snipers and battle rifles.

      • I'm happy to have ADS, not really sure why some people have an issue with it. That's how you aim down a real gun after all, and this is a new game.

      • Idc, its a new IP, I have no expectations for it, and I shouldn't treat it as a Halo game because its not. If it does have ADS, as long as it works well I won't mind it.

One of the previews confirms ADS. Until I can try it for myself, I'm a bit worried it won't have that quirkiness to it as Halo does. Adding ADS means a very different feel overall for combat gameplay, and I very much enjoyed the shooter feel of Bungie's previous games.■
