What's a DRM? I don't like when people used fancy abbreviations that I don't get that makes them seem all smarty-pants-McGee.
Please, enlighten me.

Bam. I'd butcher the explanation. The first paragraph just about sums it up.

Oh like online access codes for Madden and FIFA. Yeah, that's no reason to leave an entire console or consoles (which, while claiming 50% of the PC V.S. Console market, take up well over half of the market fiscally and realistically). Considering you can go buy a used copy of Battlefield 3 from Gamestop for 20 bucks (probably less other places), and get an online code for the equivalence of 10 bucks, you're still coming in at a 25% discount of buying the new game. The vast majority of arguments, I feel, had on the subject are done based on the "principle of the matter", as it were, and that's just dumb. If Playstation instituted a system where you had to pay 2 cents a year to continue using PSN because of the economy or whatever, and you could do this by making your payment either by credit card or at your local Gamestop, Target, etc., people would still end up selling and quitting their PS3 because of the "principle of the matter". That person is not an activist; that person is not starting a revolution; that person is not making a statement; nobody cares. /rant
