I won't buy it. I'm at college, my internet sucks, and I want to be able to play when it isn't working correctly. This would be a big -blam!- you to their consumers.

They have no problem saying -blam!- you to the consumer and time and time again will push the boundaries of what they can get away with. It's not that Sony and Nintendo are these great benevolent entities. They're just in positions where they've been knocked down a peg and, Sony especially, has become very pro-consumer because they've had to work their way back up. For the next Xbox to be great Microsoft needs to be shown they're not guaranteed success. Sony had to be shown that and now it's Microsoft's turn.

Completely agreed. They can't just think that their consumers will buy the next xbox just because we bought the last one.
