I doubt it. Halo 3 had an insanely big ad marketing campaign you couldn't watch a show without seeing at least one Halo 3 commercial and Destiny doesn't have any hype from the people who haven't been paying attention to what bungie has been doing lately.

The Halo 3 commercials didn't start till August though, right?

Yea true. When did the superbowl TV spot for Halo 3 air? maybe that's when something will come up.

I'm not sure if the exact timing from 5 years ago would be relevant now, and I didn't watch the Superbowl that year (no free food to swipe you see), so I wouldn't know.

Edited by Braydzz: 2/3/2013 7:33:58 PMBut im sure marketing techniques have stayed the same.. From a marketing standpoint it might be unwise to make a superbowl trailer I think it would be better for them to wait till E3 or gamescom because I feel not very many gamers watch sports nearly as much as they would watch E3 and also most people outside the states are less inclined to be interested in watching the NFL cause I mean assuming you are American do you watch Canadian Hockey or Soccer games held in the United Kingdom?

They aren't going to wait to reveal the game till Gamescom or E3, because they are giving a presentation on Destiny at the end of March at the Game Developer Conference :)
