I had tears in my eyes the night Halo 2 MP was nuked from Xbox LIVE. So many hours, so many games, so many late nights and early mornings. Feelings, I have them.

Isn't there still online play in the PC version of Halo 2? I'm sure the population isn't too big, but it's there.
-
I think we all did.

I may be remembering the wrong person, but were you in the Cave Girls? If so, I remember some of those all-nighters. God I just realized how much Terminal needs to be a map again. This is Boltfan btw; I made a Custom Edition video with that group once.

Indeed, I was in the Cavegirls :) and I remember you! Such good times. *Tear*

I didnt have live when Halo 2 was around, but I spent so many ours just -blam!-ing about in the campaign. Exploring Delta Halo was awesome.

I loved grenade jumping onto the roof of the space station in the opening level, and then galavanting all around on the top of the space station in co-op, killing each other in very creative ways.

Unfortunately, I never got to play it online. I was pretty sad when I found out that I would never have the oppotunity to do so. I didn't get a 360 or live until 2011, but up until that point I played so much Halo 2 campaign that I wore the disc out, so it no longer works properly.... Still sad I never got to play it online.

It is a great tragedy that you never experienced the MP. I simply would not be where I am today had it not been for that game. <3

Yeah. I hope every day that 343i will announce a Halo 2 remake (hopefully without butchering the game to hell). I just want to see what the game was like online, especially with how fun customs and everything was. Anyway, glad there were people who got to enjoy it for all it's worth. :)
