O'Donnel did Halo up until Reach and Zimmer did MW2 and MW

It depends on the mood. Marty's music has HEAVY fonk. Zimmer is more serious and dramatic. Personally, Marty's music is more "beautiful" and speaks to me more because of its range. As in, if you don't find the thrashing Steve Vai guitar solos on the Halo 2 V2 soundtrack hilariously awesome because of how "irrelevant" they are, I don't think you're getting the full experience of the music. I mean come on, "Reclaimer" was put RIGHT before "High Charity Suite." When listening to the album in order, it's just one end of the spectrum to the other. Not just in terms of composition and instrumentation, and mood, but in attitude. Mary likes some tracks to "kick-ass" while Zimmer seems to like every track to be "heavy hitting" whether light or dark in tone.

Edited by Bitty: 1/25/2013 5:40:21 AMZimmer is so creative. I love how he scores each film so differently than the last. It's a tie though, they're both awesome.

Edited by POKEY CLYDE: 1/23/2013 5:18:18 PMZimmer for his movie scores.

I don't like Hans for his VG scores. I like him for his movies, and O'Donnell for his Games.

Secret option C: Howard Shore.

Neither. Thomas Bergersen and Nick Phoenix. Although, in all honesty, they're all great.

I'm more of an Elfman kind of guy.

Hmm I have to go with Marty, Zimmer has really great songs but I just like Marty's music a little more.

Edited by Keva Turom: 1/23/2013 5:34:22 AMZimmer, sorry Marty, but Hans made a song that matches up with every trailer ever. You can't really top that. EDIT: I just noticed that you only credited Hans Zimmer for his work on the CoD games... you should google him and see all of the other stuff he's done.

Marty, but because his music has more of a place in my heart. Zimmer is the better composer though(see LOTR)
