Posted by: Rumler I'm playing World of Warcraft on a custom built PC that's hooked up to a 24-inch monitor. My video card is an ATI Radeon 1650 Pro with 512 MB. My PC is all set with everything else (Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of RAM, etc....). I'm currently getting around 30 fps while playing WoW. I'm wondering if upgrading my video card to something more recent will up my frame rate. I'm thinking about spending around $300 for a new card.
......huh, I haven't been here in a while, so I suppose I will start with your question then. In short, yes a newer video card (with more memory) should effectively increase the frame rate. The other think that could help is making sure your internet connection is wide open and not being clogged with downloads or other people using your connection.
