here's a tough one for you:
I bought a Toshiba Satellite (running Windows Vista) in August of 2007, and a few months ago it developed a problem. every so often (average of once every day or two), the whole system will freeze, and my screen will go black. all i have to do is force-shut down and wait a few seconds before starting it up again and that usually fixes the problem for the next day or two.
i doubt its any sort of malware, i'm running two different virus programs (Trend Micro AntiVirus and Webroot Spy Sweeper), i scan my computer weekly, and i keep my system up to date with all the latest patches and whatnot.
no matter what i do, i can't seem to fix the problem. i think its just because the computer gets hot, but it still does it even in cool conditions.
thanks in advance.
