Notice how they still manage to get things done unlike the democrats.

I will give you one word. CONGRESS
-
We really need to like comments, yours were awesome! I'm glad someone isn't an idiot when it comes to politics
-
good joke 5/10
-
Call it a joke all you want. It's a fact. When the republicans want something done, we get it done whether people like it or not.
-
Republicans seemed to fail at winning the election though didn't they? lel
-
That's only because the liberals in California aren't smart enough to vote for the guy who isn't a proven failure and at the same time having 55 electoral votes. The electoral college is to blame for that.
-
Even if the electoral college didn't exist, Obama won the popular vote, even if it was by a small margin. He would have won regardless of the electoral college. But yes, the electoral college is retarded. The only reason it's still in place is because some states just want to feel important.
-
California is way way ahead of most of the country. They know their shit when is comes to politics. You on the other hand are retarded
-
Sorry, I'd rather have someone leading this country who doesn't want to outlaw abortion, supports same-sex marriage, and doesn't support some crazy sky wizard who thinks he'll get his own planet when he dies.
-
Because those things are relevant to running a decent country when the issues you stated are basically made on a state level.
-
I'm sorry you don't think government-approved discrimination is something not worth worrying about.
-
"Proven failure" Republicans: Bashing Obama for not fixing things in 4 years when Mitt is saying all of his plans will take 8-10 years to fix the country
-
but obama said that he would get it done in one term.... so really Mitt called him out on his broken promise
-
he would have if congress wasn't so mentally handicapped.
-
why didnt he use executive orders? all the stuff he was proposing was so radical that it wouldnt help
-
At least Mitt wouldn't add on the debt. When he lost I died inside. I lost so much respect for this country.
-
Leave. Move to mexico. i hear that the weather is nice down there until you get your head chopped off.
-
Why did you lose so much respect? Because it was democracy in action? Because the political process worked? Or are you just butthurt because your guy lost? Did you vote? I hope you did, or else you have zero right to be here complaining.
-
Why did you lose so much respect? Because it was democracy in action? Because the political process worked? Or are you just butthurt because your guy lost? Did you vote? I hope you did, or else you have zero right to be here complaining.
I lost respect because of the horrible electoral college system and the fact that most Americans are gullible enough to vote for someone who's made things worst. It's uneducated voting in action. And yes, I did vote.
-
You complain about uneducated voting yet repubs want to cut education. lol fail

Edited by Mad Max: 1/18/2013 1:40:29 AMHow are things worse? Unemployment has improved, the economy has improved, we're less involved in Afghanistan, and how foreign countries view us has improved. Taxes are increasing in order to pay for some of the social programs and to alleviate some of the pressure of our deficit. What exactly has gotten worse? You still have just as many rights as you had in 2007. In fact, one might argue you even have more. In 10 states, couples can get married regardless of their sex, gender, or orientation. In two, you can legally possess marijuana. And most importantly, you have just as many guns. Because, god forbid, if someone took away your "right" to own a firearm, that's where you draw the line... How is that bad, again?
-
It's called "truthiness", Max. It's not what the facts say, or what numbers and analysts tell you, it's what you feel in your gut. Sure, the idea that gays and lesbians getting married will damage American culture is just as ridiculous as believing that the Moon is made of cheese. Sure, being able to identify a "genetic abnormality" off the top of your head that decades of scientific research couldn't see would be an abnormality in itself. But who cares about all that? I can say it, so that's good enough.
-
Oh please. Unemployment isn't even below 7.5 percent. And the only reasons the stats are like that is because a lot of people have stopped looking for a job. Unemployment was at records highs during his term, and no that's not Bush's fault. I'll give him some credit for attempting to improve social programs, which still isn't giving us decent results, but we'll see. Also, the debt has gotten worse and the economy is nearly stagnant. And I don't care about gays getting married nor do I care about people being able to smoke weed. That just means more people will waste their time getting high and more gays will ruin the ideal American culture and assume their neurological and genetic abnormality is permissible.

I have no interest in conversing with someone who lacks basic understanding of the people he shares this country with.
-
Don't get mad because I understand basic science and am able to identify a genetic abnormality when I see one.
