I really loved Destiny2 back in 2020/21 lockdown days I really wanted to jump back into it recently.
Now I'm gonna tell you about PVP cheating in both D2 and Marathon. If you are spending around 20$ for a game via 3rd party discount sellers, and it takes 200 hours for you to get caught/banned, it means you are spending 10 cents an hour for a "fun time arcade", while the other guy who is legit is frustrated and angry for free because he lost.
10 cents / hour is literally nothing.
This might be why you don't understand how cheater plays a video game, they aren't loot addicts.
If Marathon had a PVE-only thing, yeah why not give it a go, but then you're playing it for loot-addiction and I heard your loot is wiped out every 2-3 months ? I mean come on. It seems to me Marathon was built around player addiction and micro-transactions, mix it in with other political stuff and there you go... right now I'm playing BF6 and if you keep getting 1 tapped by a cheater you just exit the match and start a new one in few seconds no big deal.
I mean damn, I really missed D2, friends, epic boss fights, epic wipes, all that... I mean they had something it was really fun, even wiping a boss was fun in a way.
