This error means that the credentials you entered for Twitch does not match the credentials for the account that you have linked. You will need to enter the existing account credentials in order to unlink your Twitch account.

But both my twitch account and my gmail does exist

Are you able to log into the existing account on Twitch without any issues?

Are you currently logged into Bungie.net with the account you wish to unlink?

This would be why. Please log in using a platform account that is already linked to this Twitch account, then try unlinking again.

This IS the account that I’m trying to unlink and my new twitch account isn’t linked to any platforms

Please log into a platform account that is tied to this account, then unlink your Twitch account. You must use the old Twitch account login information to unlink it. It is best to do this on a computer, as mobile may be retaining session information and can cause issues.

But I can’t do that because I deleted the old account and even though I deleted it it still says I am connected to the old account

Deleting accounts only deletes the accounts on that platform. It does not impact links with other systems, such as Bungie.net. You will need to reach out to Twitch Support to see if the old account can be recovered. Bungie will not be able to unlink any account from any profile for any reason, as this would be considered an unauthorized action.

So you can’t just forcibly unlink it even though I’m ok with you doing it

I am a community volunteer and cannot perform such actions. However, as I outlined above, Bungie does not unlink any accounts from any profiles.
