Renegades, positive feedback
I'm loving it. So so fun. Been smiling non stop as I play. I brought a friend back to the game and we did some story missions together, then the exotic mission and stayed up until 2am figuring it out and earned our sabres. If you're gonna play late, finish with a big reward!
Thanks for this. Renegades is an innovative addition perfect for scoundrels. I am LOVING the story, especially the interactions between the heroes, like Bael and Lodi's contrasted experiences with the Nine, Eris and Drifter (our favourite couple!) and Aunor having some jarring (for her) growth. Blue is hilarious! Effin' love that ghost. I wanna share a NY bagel with Blue.
The lawless frontier locations are gorgeous and the environmental sounds (especially on Venus) are so rich that they really immersed me.
The light sabers are great! The deflections ability is very fun. It's changed how I play.
Anyway, thanks again. This is a very cool addition and the piles of lore are top. I found myself hanging on every word.

I agree with you on renegades being fun. I actually believe it might be what saves Destiny 2

I liked it. I’ve always loved Star Wars and I think it fits so well here. Plenty of references, your very own customizable lightsaber, some epic moments in the campaign, dredgen bael as a “Sith” not to mention this is the first time a human, wielding the same kind of powers we have, is the main villain in a destiny campaign. Pretty cool stuff here! I just wish bael had more presence gameplay-wise, like if he were maybe a boss we fight a couple times here and there throughout the campaign, taunting us. But hey, I’m glad the writers didn’t kill him off cuz it means his story isn’t finished!

I’m loving the campaign missions so far and looking forward to getting my praxic blade. Hoping the invasion activity is decent (I like the concept). Not a fan of Tharsis Outpost - feels gimmicky to me. There’s also a lot of running back and forth to activate text boxes, or awkward interactions that spoil the story for me.

6 RepliesGlad you like it. I am having the exact opposite experience. The game is NOT fun or engaging. Still working through the story missions, but all the back and forth with all the extra dialog droning on and on is getting OLD! The exact same start to every mission. Every mission is horde mode 201. Wave upon wave of bad guys that never end until you sort through what to do and it is not always apparent. I feel like there is zero room to breath and sort through what to do. I only play hunter and die a lot. Just not enjoyable.

I do like the campaign myself and will do it 3 times but then Ima dip as the whole Invasion/Extraction shooter thing is not my cup of tea.

I'm loving it too. Such a nice addition to the game and change of pace. Music is incredible and the praxic blade and lawless frontier is definitely a good mix up.
