Hello Bungie Support Team, I am experiencing a persistent, critical crash during the final boss fight against The Witness in The Final Shape campaign (Mission: Iconoclasm). The game consistently crashes to desktop at the exact same moment: when The Witness launches its large, high-visual-effect attack (often announced by the on-screen prompt). I have been unable to finish the campaign despite numerous attempts and have exhausted all common community and technical fixes. Here is what I have already attempted: 1. In-Game Workarounds The "Look Away" Technique: I immediately look at the floor or a wall when the attack prompt appears, but the crash still occurs after approximately 5-8 seconds, or immediately upon looking back up. Graphics Reduction: I temporarily set Effect Quality, Shadow Quality, and Light Quality to their lowest settings (Medium/Low). Frame Rate Cap: I capped the game's FPS to 60/75 FPS and disabled V-Sync. Forcing DirectX: I attempted to launch the game using the --force-d3d11 command. 2. System and Software Checks Overlay Disabled: I have verified and disabled all third-party overlays (Discord, Steam, Nvidia ShadowPlay, MSI Afterburner/RTSS). Drivers: My GPU drivers are updated to the latest stable version. Integrity Check: I verified the integrity of the game files on Steam.
