Sounds like they have the reward pass which gives up to 15% bonus portal score whereas you don’t have the pass for bonus score.

Incorrect. Minus 15% for the debuff set, minus 15% for the number of command points. Since these numbers are multiplied, the total loss for not having a subscription is almost 40%.

Because a cosmetic does nothing. If a cosmetic is winning then buy the pass to get the bonus to help achieve the helmet. Very similar to all the other cosmetics you need to pay for that have no impact on gameplay. Gotta pay to play bud. Your parents basement might be free but the rest of the world isn’t.
