First time developing a game, Bungie?
Please tell me someone quality tested this before—
Nevermind. Obviously, QA doesn’t exist.

1 ReplyPvP should’ve been a quick rank based thing kinda like comp. Pve activities should have all RNG enemies ALWAYS spawning and it should be an average score not just a high one. That way it’s how well you play and not just one run where the stats aligned.

1 ReplyThis is what happens when you use content for something other than what it was intentionally made for. And this shouldn't have come off as a surprise. Bungie has been doing this for years with how they've been using Battlegrounds as substitutes for Strike GMs.

1 ReplyWe are the QA testers and free of charge EZ Clap.

That's like saying you can't put a fork in a live electric socket. Turns out, you can and I'm sure people on Bungie's staff have. I'm also sure they'll do it again.
Obviously, QA doesn’t exist.
actually, this is true. from what i've heard the entire QA team was fired in the last round of layoffs. it's upsetting to say the least also yeah i don't think a leaderboard situation is good for d2's identity or player base, personally. this isn't that kind of game.

Bungie: Hold my 🍺

This is the same company that at one point tried to do SBMM, altered their matchmaking algorithm to try and force a ≈50% win rate for everyone, level advantages, and one or two other things I can't remember that all contradict each other in Iron Banner and Trials.

4 RepliesThey are so out of touch as a gaming studio lol They keep saying that they are listening lol nope
-
Apparently RNG even in scoring system is "content" now
-
5 RepliesThe scoring system wasn't competitive to begin with. Max score on salt mines is easy. The point of the event was to boost sales of a rewards pass without making seasonal content to go with it.

10 RepliesBut they did so....?

They exists. Just not in house. They outsource it and it shows by said lack of assured quality.
