Stasis needs MAKOR buffs to compete, I am teaching my brother d2 and he loved stasis but it was so underworked and he kept complaining about having no health and dying way to fast, I eventually had to put him on solar so he could stand a fighting chance (he’s a titan) P.S please make mods a non guardian rank thing

The meta it was designed for has passed. We’re not under as much pressure now and we have significantly more survivability options that hard CC isn’t useful. The main issues: - Stasis is too slow to put out damage - Stasis abilities are curbed waaay too much by crucible. My suggestions: - make “Stasis Mines” a core feature. Small shards of stasis that detonate when approached and deal Shatter damage. - Create more offensively oriented weapon perks for stasis weapons to compete. - Stasis weapons now instantly shatter Stasis Crystals when damaged. (Increasing viability of Headstone as well as a major QoL for Behemoth. - New Supers and grenades with a more heavy focus on damage. - Increase the Radius and Damage of Frozen enemy shatters. - Slightly improve base duration of Frost Armor and remove Stasis shard cooldown lockout - Heavy Reworks to underperforming aspects in PvE: Frostpulse, Shatterdive, Winter’s Shroud, Howl of the Storm, Cryoclasm. With small buffs to others. Frostpulse - Now grants Frost Armor based on the number of enemies frozen. - Shattering Frozen targets grants bonus class ability energy. Shatterdive - Increased Shatter Damage scalar in PvE. - Animation grants DR in PvE - Shattering a crystal or frozen enemy creates a Stasis Mine for each. Winter’s Shroud - While you have Frost Armor, defeating a target with your melee fully recharges your dodge. Howl of the Storm - Increase the number of summoned crystals, now spreading out in a 3-wave spread. - Gain 3 stacks of Frost Armor on cast Cryoclasm - Shattering a stasis crystal or Frozen Target with this creates a stasis mine for each. - Increase shatter damage scalar for PvE. - Cooldown is reduced when you have Frost Armor. Fragment buffs: - Whisper of Chill - Now additionally grants “picking up a Stasis shard heals a portion of your health”. - Whisper of Hedrons - No longer increases Recovery, Mobility, and Resilience. Now applies a 15% damage bonus to your weapons and abilities. (5% in PvP) - Whisper of Reversal - Now includes the effects of the current Whisper of Fractures. - Whisper of Fractures - Now grants “Shattering a Frozen target creates a stasis mine”

Yeah, just what pvp needs more players spam freezing everyone so they can get kills then hop on here and tell every other player to, "get gud". That sums up the majority of pvp players with a positive kd.

Agreed.

Stasis has an inherent problem where it is completely miserable to play against in PvP when it is good so it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for balancing. -
It's a glass cannon type of subclass. No healing perks, unless you count frost armor, but it's juicy in PVP and for ground enemies. (enemies that don't fly) I sort've wish it had something like pyrogales that made it a big one-off on behemoth.

I wish Glacial Quake was better but otherwise I freaking love Behemoth, especially with dunemarchers or icefall

Well... Besides add clearing stasis is worthless. And other subclasses add clear better, while also having great dps option and insane survivability. Stasis...you just freeze, slow and gain some dmg reduction..yay... They need to rework the whole thing entierly to make it interesting. There is no point in freezing ennemies then having to deal damage on them with something else when you can just ignite/jolt/volatile the whole room in a blink of an eye and do a ton of dmg. The supers are also very lacking on warlock and hunter. They both freeze ennemies basically and deal low dmg...yay...i definitely cant do that with my abilities already... (Titan gets a pass because it can deal massive dmg on some bosses)

Stasis too strong buff solar please

Stasis itself is fine but some of the abilities that are tame. AT BASE: Titans shiver strike is a whiffing machine for actually being a melee so now it is a movement tool. (I could make a montage for how much it whiffs) Hunter’s throwing shuriken’s are weak and feel to not help out. Warlock staff melee feels a bit off (Not much experience) All classes haven’t had any new abilities or supers added which makes the kit feel much older than the other 5. Slow and freeze as verbs are amazing. Most stasis special weapons are awesome. Some lacking archetypes on the primary side and the heavy weapons can be fun with some of the perk combo’s. Stasis exotics are very unique and always feel like a breath of cold fresh air. I get your point to a degree but it could just be that stasis is a harder kit to learn with especially start and play with.

Try prismatic stasis warlock with Rimecoat exotic the turrets lock down well the devour helps keep you alive and you have choice of super for different situations. It's a powerhouse build.
-
Put him on Arc with Storm's Keep and have him stand behind the barricade shooting lightning all day. It's the easiest mode in Destiny.
-
Stasis on Titan is great wdm? Warlock and hunter is where it's lacking specially the warlock super.

No actually stasis is great.
