Match-Making Needs to be look at
Why is it that every single time I try to play Trials, I tend to get teammates who are basically braindead and go up against the Ultra-Mega Sweatiest No Life. your mm needs to be look at and rework. I shouldn't have to be punished every single -blam!- time when trying to play trials.

1 ReplyHonestly, it’s an administrative issue. The algorithm for matchmaking is pretty poor, but I’d also argue that there’s another factor: players not actually being as good as their K/D says. I’m not the best player, but my movement, weapon understanding, and positions have improved a lot in the last month or so. If someone is carried by a meta or a gun, it leads to poor performance in higher level gameplay. Then you get matched with them from the algorithm, and it’s bad news bears.

Matches are pretty fair, players on teams are damn near 1-1 with KDs ranging from 0.2-0.6.

5 RepliesThe player population is nearing an all-time low. Less players in the queue results in fewer lobbies within your MMR. Simple math really. I'd love to see what the Trials playercount was this past weekend. Abysmally low is my projection.

You're expecting something rather than simply going with the flow. You're trying to control something that can't be controlled. You need to let be that which is --- only then will you be free to truly enjoy the PvP experience. Remove expectation. Don't try to control the outcome. People are living and breathing and have a mind of their own and you can't (nor should you want to) control them. Like I said in another post: play to challenge yourself. You don't have to be the best. Just be better. Define winning not by the score of the game but by how you perform (not how others perform). Doing so will make you free to enjoy the game, as well as eventually appreciate those whom you currently call braindead. Just my thoughts. Edit: "Perform", as in "how you perform," may not be the only word to use. Maybe, just maybe, ooohhhh....other's are not going to like this!!! Another word to use is "act." Act. You don't know who you're up against then, do you? If they're acting... Replace "Up against" with something less combative, such as "going to the movies with." You're turn, using "Movies"

You are right. Destiny 2 pvp is unplayable for good connecrions.

PvP is so bad now . Low numbers and mostly the long term sweats who live in PvP …how much crap do those players put up with …still playing a full time job . It’s so broken and full of cheaters . You know in the first minute if you know if you win or lose which just defeats the purpose. Same floggs who don’t cap ….donkeys . It’s like playing soccer and deciding not to score goals 🙄😂

It feels like that many times and I agree with you. My win ratio in a single day has been below 20%. I have never made it to the light house and my KD is below 1.0. In some games I do good and in others it feels hopeless. The match making does suck and Bungie does not care as the leadership has not cared about its players for a long time. I have resigned to just play for fun and not care about winning.

Like why am I getting a player on my team who only has 1 trials win EVER and has a .22 k/d?
