Also to add for all the tryhards that want to take the exact opposite position of everyone as usual, this is a seasonal event, like wellspring, or any others. Its meant to be replayed the entire season. In its current state, no one will want to deal with the bs more then they must.
The game is dead, barely 17k playing in December and everyone wants to act like no big deal....well at least you cool folks who can solo flawless no hit the master level version can run it solo when all the other players bail on this game. Too arrogant to see past your own little world. Things like this do not attract the average everyday player but go and get your $30 star wars skin to wear for a few more months.

Citing numbers from december in the middle of february is certainly a choice Said numbers are also wrong I imagine you're getting those numbers from steam charts, which tracks players online in that moment, not how many people are playing the game total, and also only tracks 1 platform out of the 3 (arguably 5 if you count different console generations as different platforms) that the game is on. And then you have the gall to talk down to people who disagree with you. You seem to value the ability to have open and intellectually honest discussion, as well as letting people share their own honest opinions, as you have voiced multiple times in the replies to this thread So what's the deal with pre-empting the ones that disagree with you by acting so spiteful towards them? You're doing nothing but inviting people to start a fight with you.

It's currently 704k across all platforms as of the last time I checked, which I'd say are pretty good numbers for an almost 8 year old game.

Would it matter if we did tell them? People like this usually refer to actual tangible evidence that contradicts their conclusion as "unreliable" or even just flat out accuse you of lying. You could put every single person who played destiny 2 in the last month in a football field together and they'd tell you they were all paid actors. The only reason I even bother to bring this kind of point up is that I hope someone, even just one person, will read through and have it be made slightly more clear to them that the situation is not as dire as these fearmongering types make it out to be.

I even know someone who has said multiple times that destiny is dead while they don't even play it. Then again, they play skull and bones, so I don't understand their definition of a dead game. For some added context. Skull and bones on steam only has 45 people playing when I checked.
