I don't get wanting dungeons to be glorified strikes. Mechanically the dungeons not hard. A lot of mis information about second but as long as kills in the far left you get the max damage time.

  • I don’t think a lot of people want them to be glorified strikes. The issue is comes down to, generally speaking from the past, is that *mechanics and super chunky health bars get annoying. *it’s the mechanics repeating and repeating. There are a lot of mechanics that are fairly easy to do but become dull.

  • Anything slightly more complicated than stand on plate or deposit something here gets crucified for being to complex. There isn't one dungeon boss in this game that I haven't one phased as a team. So far vespers final boss is the only boss solo that took more than 3 damage phases for me personally. Playing this dungeon as a 3 man it's already a joke, we jump straight to kill on the second encounter and the final boss basically falls over.

  • I’m not going to fight you. This isn’t even about complexity. Challenging vs Annoying. I don’t mind a challenge. Especially when you can look up how to do it. However on the subject of complexity. I think most people actually want a challenge. It’s not about what you have to, it’s about how many times you have to do it, especially when you aren’t fighting a boss. Not to mention when a boss has a super chunky health bar it’s also get a bit tiring. Though I think Vesper’s main boss is a bit chunky the rest of the mechanics were fun. So far I have gotten comments like, wait till normal mode, memorizing the symbols isn’t hard, Oh you’re saying the mechanic is too hard. I didn’t say any of that on my post, I said annoying. Mirrors are ‘new’, I like it. However instead of doing it three times get a bit more creative instead of, oh now two symbols are missing.

  • My post was more about the forums community as a whole. Contest definitely wasn't designed for everyone. First encounter can drag on sure, the rest of the dungeon is fine. The bosses aren't tanks at all. But people love to mention the solo runs like it's still the first week and they don't have x amount of time to do it.

  • Luckily this time they decreased the bosses hp and the amount of stuff going on is decreased. Encounter 2 is just the 4 shriekers and whatever 3 symbols were chosen (not in a fast order like 1 every 10 seconds so not too bad) and encounter 4 straight up kills every ad in the room and on normal it's a 1v1 though on Contest it does spawn like 8 husks to come fight you (Dunno why they felt the need for that).
