sigh 1. You literally have 3x more health than normal. Yes they hit hard on master because all of us are super underleveled right now. That will change once you level up. On normal, this is not an issue at all 2. Ammo finders are literally in the game. Use them. Also, pots have a chance to drop ammo and it fully refunds and reloads the weapon 3. There’s literally 3 tormentors and only 1 of them is a boss 4. There’s literally a plethora of ways to regen health 5. This also ties in to #4. Go heal 6. This is a flat out lie* 7. Again, flat out lie 8. Eh. Can’t really argue that but health is health. Also, you can update your Tome to give you more health on pick up 9. If you build into it, and get lucky with the right boons, you can use a class ability every 5 secs. Healing every 5 secs is strong *you know we can see your history right? You NEVER done nether. Imagine trying to join a trend just to look stupid af

  • I feel like it's easier when I start in the mausoleum. I get a lot of boons in there to start. I only wish you could choose from all the major boons each time. The class ability health regen is the way to go. And with those other boosts that double your boons each time it adds up fast. I think people forget to do the "secrets" and find toland and all that for the boons. I can have class/grenade/melee every 3 seconds by the end lol

  • Don't even bother dude. No matter how many solutions you throw at them they will keep finding "issues". Just wait until reset when they baby proof the nether then all these posts will banish.

The tormentor boss can be cheesed easy enough, making the encounter a cake walk. Walk very slowly through the high up portal. As soon as you can see the boss don't move. The Tormentor won't notice you. Use an LFR, or thunderlord, to target the boss shoulder points, then finish him off. Clear up any adds. Done.

  • 1) is wrong. Bungie said we would have more health and better shields, but they enemies on normal hit harder, so I die just as fast. In the end it is all a wash. I may have more health, but the enemies do more damage so it is worse as you have zero health regen. The whole idea is half cooked, no health regen, limited revives, limited ammo drops and I have had it bug out and lock me in an area with no way to get out. It is one of the worst thing they have ever designed in the history of destiny!

There are ammo regen boons, damage reduction buffs for wearing the armor set, boss resists, and buffs to trigger heal pulses on finishers and class abilities. You can literally have a Phoenix Dive 15% health pulse every 5-8 seconds by just collecting boons. This community is embarrassing.

  • A lot of your comment is reasonable, apart from the derogatory remarks towards other players. But many of us don't want to spend two hours concentrating on space magic builds and faffing around with boons, health regen gadgets and special armour sets with crappy rolls, every time we log in just to play a shooter looter. Maybe for end game content, but not for a seasonal activity. No wonder hundreds of thousands of players have quit.

The activity gets done in 25-30 minutes by simply having a brain and putting on the right boons and ghost mod to steer the drops in favor of healing and survivability and using Unrelenting. When these clowns absolutely refuse to adapt and want the game to require no thought whatsoever in how you engage, and then gaslight and cry "bAd gAmE dEsiGn!" They need to be called out. Ironic that you mentioned players quitting. Destiny 2 failing to innovate and change the core gameplay is what makes players log in less and less. Destiny 2 can't just be well camping symbol reading boogaloo forever because that's not bringing players in or making players return. Being just a looter shooter isn't enough.

  • Go to Halo there's no buildcrafting there Or call of duty Or fortnite If you don't enjoy the game leave and play something else. Is really not that hard dude. You play a game where buildcrafting is an ESSENTIAL part of the game. If you suck at it,yeah you're not gonna have a good time. So save yourself a lot of trouble and go play anything else. Theres a few great games out here.👍

This reasoning is really flawed, "I am gonna berate, gate keep, and tell players to leave and not play the game I love." Meanwhile that said game is hemorrhaging so many players it is actually looking like it might die. Instead what bungie and players like you should be doing is listening to these people's complaints and try to you know better destiny and grow the player base.

I used to love Halo. That's what got me into this in 2014. CODs were fine until the cheats took over. That's what's killed PvP in Destiny. Fortnight? No thanks. And if you have played Destiny since the initial launch, you'll know very well that there's ALWAYS been buildcrafting. But not to the fanatical, obsessive extent that Bungie have decided to plague us with in their infinite wisdom. We did just fine with Arc, Solar and Void. But since they FORCED strand, stasis, and the abhorrent prismatic down our throats, there has never been so many bugs, glitches and technical issues in the history of the game. So please don't preach to me about buildcrafting. It has saturated this once great game so much, that veteran players who quit ages ago wouldn't recognise it today. Hell, it must be bad when we have actually have to use weapons to HEAL us, not to kill enemies. What's next? Maybe we'll get a subclass which enables us to perform emergency surgery on our allies. Before you know it, it'll turn into The Sims 2.0.

  • After almost 11 years? No way. This has become my social life. I've made so many great friends playing this through various clans, and enjoy the company and banter. The game is just a channel to meet up. It's like when your favourite bikers pub has been turned into some poncey wine bar......the place sucks and the beer is disgusting, but you still meet up with your buddies for good companionship.

  • Also the extra Shields/Health means the health orbs you get gives you lower regen than intended (literally the reason why they’re balance passing it)

This is false. They definitely don’t do more damage. I’ve done this solo flawlessly and a group of ads tickled me. I’ve literally had a swarm of those bees after you kill those certain enemies and I ate that up no problem Now if you choose the boon that lets you do more damage, but you take more damage, then yes. You’ll get shredded.

  • I am glad your that good. I however am not. The thing is not a cakewalk. Maybe I took that boon, I do not remember. But you have to kill stuff to get a boon. Stuff is killing me before I ever get a boon. The thing is integral to the season quest. If players can't get it done they will continue to leave the game. Most players are not raiders or GM runners or do dungeons or run expert/master difficulty content. We are not beating out heads against a wall to try and complete content that is supposed to be for All players of all levels. This is why players numbers are down. We do not enjoy this kind of difficult content. Your good, better than average. Better than most players. I am not that good and my experience is more negative than positive. Like many players, I do not think it is fun or easy. If I can't do the season quest because the content I am supposed to do is too hard, then I will not be playing or paying. There is no point in only running old strikes and paying for all the other stuff. I wish you the best.

  • Fester probably picked up the boon that increases damage dealt and taken and is complaining about damage taken and not even realizing it was his own doing

Now, here's a genuine question about your comment. I'm not trying to be facetious or argumentative, I'd just like to hear your opinion. What is the reasoning behind introducing a boon that increases damage given and taken? Doesn't one cancel the other out? Isn't that the same as increasing the horse power of a car but driving with the brakes on? I'm just a simple gamer, but to me it makes no sense and has no valid reasoning. It's just a gimmick that serves no purpose whatsoever. Like the tonic saga. Ok, we have to collect ingredients to make tonics that give us a leg up to chase certain pieces of loot. The description is on the tonic, so why do we have to taste it? They're just futile additions that serve no purpose except to give the few devs that are left something to do. These man hours and recources could be used to improve the game or fix bugs, but I think it's because they just can't.

  • It increases damage you deal while dealing damage you take. It reinforces a glass cannon playstyle which many players enjoy in many games. It puts heightened pressure on avoidance of damage entirely but as a reward it gives a damage boost. I make sure to pick it up when using my golden gun hunter to further lean into my preferred playstyle. A better analogy using vehicles would be more akin to removing the steel frame of a car and replacing it with aluminum. Let's you go faster but if you crash you're pretty screwed.

  • Thanks for your sensible reply. I don't agree that it adds anything to the game, but you made your point clear and I repect your opinion.
