So, Nether....absolutely the most irritating, fake power, bs this event is. I have run it at least 75x by now all on master or whatever and talk about not worth the time.
1 No HP along with enemies you do maybe 30% damage to but hit you harder the master raids
2 No flags or ammo crates...add in the above and you are primarying everything
3 The amount of tormenters and crap is ridiculous. Nothing like making a boss jump every 5 seconds, slam you across the map from 100 feet away and suppress you. Tons of spawns and then again NO AMMO.
4 This -blam!- idea of no health regen is just flat out stupid. You eliminate nearly EVERY single build and weapon that is for healing.
5 The STUPID HP alarm nonstop...You made it where we can heal and left the fking alarm on still?
6 Run it 10x with no adept drops.
7 Booses have master level raid hp if you were to add 3 bosses together.
8 Healing motes do jack crap whatsover
9 Class heal does crap
I hate this stupid -blam!- activity to no end. The time it takes to run, the bs you have to deal with and the total breaking of everything build wise for what? Some crap weapons? Nah

I guess I’m one of those people that like the Nether activity. I haven’t played it on any harder difficulty settings, if we can change them. But I run it solo and ,so far, I like it. It takes me over an hour to complete it though because I’m always exploring. I don’t have any armor sets but I choose boons that affect my play style. If it’s a damage boosting boon (light or dark), or ability regen boost then I’m good, so far. I haven’t kept any new armor pieces because the stats are bad as well as the total points. I don’t choose boons that impact my character negatively.

Tormentors are complete BS - suppress light - incapacitate you - more hp than a tank - you can't beat them you can only outlast them Ridiculous Bungie Leave these for the tryhards in the dungeons and raids and take them out of the open world
-
Oh and then throw in the guitar errors as usual that dumps you out the game with no way to rejoin

Edited by Ray: 2/9/2025 6:07:46 PMsigh 1. You literally have 3x more health than normal. Yes they hit hard on master because all of us are super underleveled right now. That will change once you level up. On normal, this is not an issue at all 2. Ammo finders are literally in the game. Use them. Also, pots have a chance to drop ammo and it fully refunds and reloads the weapon 3. There’s literally 3 tormentors and only 1 of them is a boss 4. There’s literally a plethora of ways to regen health 5. This also ties in to #4. Go heal 6. This is a flat out lie* 7. Again, flat out lie 8. Eh. Can’t really argue that but health is health. Also, you can update your Tome to give you more health on pick up 9. If you build into it, and get lucky with the right boons, you can use a class ability every 5 secs. Healing every 5 secs is strong *you know we can see your history right? You NEVER done nether. Imagine trying to join a trend just to look stupid af

You haven't even played the activity
-
I love it! My clan loves it. It takes persistence and build crafting to master. A breath of fresh air honestly! Work the boons. Advance your rank with Eris's apartments. Get the oversheild buff. Got into explore to gather resources before tackling expert.
-
There are a lot of people that like it. From the people I play with I haven't heard a bad comment.
-
I don't even know what's worse, HP alarm or Sloane's constantly repeating chatter when the ship is in orbit :) .
-
I mean, I just don't play the activity and do something else that I find enjoyable. They will fix it eventually and by that I mean never. Hahaha
-
I really don’t see why people find Tormentors so hard. Just dodge them. Their attack patterns are obvious, and while they are hyper aggressive, they are usually pretty slow. Worst case scenario is you get grabbed at low health, but all you have to do is float or jump above the tormentor when it’s charging you, that way it misses its grab. You can also cheese the tormentor by getting up on the pillars and shooting it down from up there. Deal with the adds when they spawn before getting back up there.
-
Definitely agree on the ammo. There is none, when you need it. Which of course is at the end.. Very annoying.
-
do you folk ever learn, difficultyvis the only thing game devs care abou now, grinding and forced difficulty are all that matters, dont pay the money, let them rot
-
They keep finding ways to reinvent the wheel, so to speak. But the wheel is still round and worn out.
-
Edited by Magiscene: 2/10/2025 12:30:41 PMYeah the activity sucks. If it helps run crimson, red death, or a weapon with unrelenting like le monarch with caty. Made my runs so much easier since they actually heal.
-
yep you summed it up perfectly agreed.
-
They actually wrote code to make it this way. Of course they didn’t play test it either, cause they fired those people. Working as intended.
-
just check online in a week... when the game is made only for streamers and 1%
-
The worse activity ever!!! A frustrating activity is not bringing back players. It will actually push player away from the game. Nerfing your guardian is not the answer Bungie, but I guess is easier than being creative.

Edited by Motorhead England: 2/10/2025 5:37:30 PMI was really looking forward to returning to the Dreadnaught once again. Lord above, what a complete anti climax. Why didn't they bring the old stuff out of retirement? They would have saved a fortune in resources and I recon would have made a lot more players a lot happier.
-
Also to add for all the tryhards that want to take the exact opposite position of everyone as usual, this is a seasonal event, like wellspring, or any others. Its meant to be replayed the entire season. In its current state, no one will want to deal with the bs more then they must. The game is dead, barely 17k playing in December and everyone wants to act like no big deal....well at least you cool folks who can solo flawless no hit the master level version can run it solo when all the other players bail on this game. Too arrogant to see past your own little world. Things like this do not attract the average everyday player but go and get your $30 star wars skin to wear for a few more months.
-
Yeah it’s terrible. More people should be complaining but I’d imagine they’ve already moved on
-
I tried it once. Didn’t enjoy it much so haven’t tried it since. Once Bungie get things working like they’re supposed to I might try it again.
-
Since all you smart folks seem to think play history actually mean something and the world forbids multiple accounts, go check my main Giggles#6073 You can do the "play history says zero" all day, it means nothing when even the dev has come out saying crap isnt working right and it needs to be balanced. Even when the dev agrees you people still do the same crap and you wonder why theres 18k people playing this game
-
This is a weird way to say skill issue
-
75x ? Are you ok?
-
This activity is great. It was rough at first but after getting the boon upgrades at the vendor it’s really not hard at all. Even on expert I can go on lfg find a team and finish in 30 minutes with like 1 or 2 deaths. Also I’m pretty sure Adepts only drop in expert and for me I get at least 1 every run. Not that hard of an activity. It’s one of my favorites that they’ve done
