If they removed Knockout after that consecration nerf and forced Storm's Keep on people, there would be ZERO reason to ever use prismatic. I'm curious what kind of play loop you are seeing there?

  • um, the exact same loop as current? you do realise that controlled demo heals for more than knockout and applies volatile, right? every consecration would also include a volatile explosion, which would make up for the small amount of melee damage lost.

  • Well, now I have multiple questions. How are you making the enemies volatile first? How are you making up for the amplified that is being removed? Knockout is double damage with Arc now and instantly killing most red bars. From your post I thought you intended to use the 2 aspects you mentioned.

Amplified isn't necessary on prismatic in its current state. They could easily change it to abilities apply volatile. Similar to how the invisibility aspect for hunter applies from any sort of element debuff.

  • Enemies that die to a melee ability spread volatile?

I could see that working, but it probably still wouldn't get used over knockout. Problem with unbreakable is it doesn't mesh well with with anything on prismatic. Unless it can generate diamond lances? I honestly don't know because anywhere i try to use unbreakable on prismatic, the shield gets broken pretty easily. Best i could think would be to replace Unbreakable with Bastion, so Drengr's lash has some synergy with something. Pair them together with abeyant leap and get overshields and woven mail. Or go khepris abeyant for sunspots with overshield with the stupid changes to khepris. Could be I'm stupid, but i really can't see where unbreakable works with anything on prismatic.

  • 1) the first wave of consecration applies volatile. the second detonates it 2) I'm not - titans can get that by getting there (3) kills with an arc ability 3) no, knockout is only 50% more damage on powered melees, not double.

    1. Are you changing the words for Controlled Demo first? Hitting a target with a Void ability or Volatile explosion makes them volatile. Further damage to a volatile target causes them to explode. Grants you and nearby allies health when volatile targets explode near you. 2. What arc ability are you using three times? And how is this procing? 3. This is my bad, I never play without Synthocepts. 4. When are you using Storm's Edge? What is that taking out?

  • storms edge is in place of unbreakable, which really doesn't have any spot in prismatic titan as-is.

  • 1) of course I am, just as most other abilities on prismatic were changed like that. 2) pulse grenades or arc weapons. amplified is not hard to get :/

  • I am asking this because I honestly do not know. Which arc weapons give amplified?

  • all of them give amplified while an arc ability is equipped

  • That is something I legit did not know and actually will be very useful for next season. If bolt charge has any real damage behind it, then my plan is to... Thundercrash Consecration Knockout Facet of purpose to gain Bolt charges on orb pick up Hardlight or Dead Messenger on Arc with a constant 30% damage increase with Amplified. And hopefully ending at least half of my Consecration slams with the lightning from Bolt Charges. Several potential problems here. I assume the bolt charge will come at the beginning of the slams, not the end. My strat includes making a lot of orbs or doing a ton of weapon damage. Bolt charge might not be there when I need it and of course the nerf to Consecration maybe too much to keep using it.

  • That would be amazing, which is exactly why Bungie won't do it.
