Title says it.
6 fresh clears including hidden chests rewarded 6 weapons. This is just not good enough.
Prophecy x2 = 1 smg
Shattered Thronex2 = 1 scout + 1 auto
Spire of the Watcher = 1 scout + 1 lmg
Warlords Ruin = 1 sword
Nothing worth keeping due to undesirable perks.
We need some kind of focus system, weapon weighting over armour or something.
Edit: I did 2 more dungeons and got ONE weapon!!!!!! FFS

That is not the problem. Once agian people want to address a symptom by creating a work around rather than addressing the core issue. Too many perks and too many useless perks makes for too many drops with worthless perks. Bungie needs to seriously clean up the perk pool, make everything left viable so that no matter what you get it will be worth using even if it is not the best roll possible. The problem is too many possible drops for any given weapon. This means that there are so many possible drop options with any one weapon and having such a small chance of dropping that you may not see what you want even with 1000 drops. Crafting, focusing, etc are all addressing the symptom of low drop chance rather then addressing the core game issue.

Two chests at the end of every encounter: one armor, one weapon. Take your pick. This should've been implemented in every activity since they introduced it in the Coil.

I’d be happy to just get the exotic from the last four dungeons to drop, or last three raids come to think of it. BungieRnG sucks

dungeon keys arent free. they want me to pay to be this disappointed?

Exactly why I'll never grind dungeons for anything but the exotic and catalyst until they do what they should've done long ago and allow us to craft or focus dungeon gear. We can do it for raids and damn near everything else, even reliably target farm several, there's no logical reason we can't for dungeon weapons.

Edited by glitchHiker: 1/24/2025 10:54:16 AMI had one run of vespers a while back where I got ALL ARMOR, I kid you not. That includes the secret chests. My most recent one was armor and ONE auto rifle with undesirable perks, also including chests. Something needs to be done about dungeon RNG, I'm at the point where I don't even want to waste the time running them anymore. I farmed prophecy last week when it was featured, roughly 75% of drops were useless armor and the few guns that dropped were also very undesirable with crappy stats. It's just getting ridiculous. There needs to be some kind of attunement system for all dungeons or modes in general, for either weapons or armor - especially when the new armor system drops. I'm 100% sure they're intentionally weighting the drops towards armor (most likely very easy to do) and more than likely still using some form of perk weighting all throughout the game. Just look at most people's bad luck farming Aisha's Embrace! This is how they keep us playing after all! I still haven't got an EA/BnS bittersweet to drop after 20-30 tonics and some solo contest of elders. I've never seen a company more toxic than Bungie during Revenant. Up until the end of echoes I still loved them for everything they've given us, but wow Revenant just completely destroyed all my love for them HARD. Heresy is looking better so far (except for the sh*t perks on the new nightfall weapons, wow what an epic fail), hopefully they correct their mistakes but I'll reserve final judgement until it releases. #BRINGBACKCRAFTING

I had a simile experience running Vesper and Prophecy this week. 2 weapons in 2 full clears and 3 bosses. I think we need some sort of consumable where we favour weapon (or armour) drops so we can target farm better. I really enjoy the dungeons and I enjoy farming but when you get such bad RNG you just disengage.

Wtth armor rework; hopefully armor won't be a dump item anymore and might actually be worth something again...

Just did grasp of avarice for the first time… 5 pieces of armor🤦♂️. Didn’t bother with hidden chests because I didn’t want more armor.
