Onslaught triumphs are ludicrously high, to a point where I would have to spend a full single-player games worth of time to complete. 50 onslaught completions when only 50 waves (not the playlist) count? I have max triumph score and I’ve done every insane silly triumph, but I’m getting real tired of these, just choose a number and expect us to grind it out triumphs. There’s nothing triumphant about that

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
In D1 I collected every grimiore card in the game But in D2, I don't care, I only do triumphs that have in-game rewards attached to them -
This old tortoise has a lot of Seals that are almost done…but, if a Triumph is ridiculously bad - I just don’t bother with it… If something ain’t fun, I simply move on. Though I might revisit such, now and again…😉 Ease Springs! 🎃👻🫡

Edited by Magiscene: 11/3/2024 5:36:56 AMMy two cents is if the triumph doesn’t give any thing worthwhile don’t do it. (I don’t have the season so if it does my apologies) but regardless 50 rounds of 50 wave wins is ridiculous. They need to understand this is a game not a job. If it was kill 100 bosses that would be more reasonable because a boss spawns every 10 waves and the occasional one between rounds.

It’s gotta be that way for the people that live on the game. We’ve got people that play except when they sleep. I’m not one of them….but know what you mean and agree if you’re looking to check off triumphs. But as others have said here…it’s only a priority if you make it one. Amazing things happen when you just don’t care about it anymore.

You did all the fishing triumphs?

1 ReplySeems like they implemented the number requirements to retain player retention in mind since the decline in it's population. I may not be as high as many others in terms of triumph score only at 148k. I do enjoy doing triumphs as it sets a goal for me to complete in game and something to do. The fishing triumphs took me over 8k fishes caught to get every fishing triumph done and while it may have been boring I enjoyed it because it was a break from the grind that we normally had. Tbh I loved the fishing and was a fun social experience for me to meet others in game. Enjoy D2 Guardian 🍻

1 ReplyThey should change it to the amount of waves so instead of 50 completions of 50 wave onslaught just have it be complete 2500 waves. That way you can just complete the 10 wave version and still make progress. But Bungie doesn't put much forethought into things like this, remember the ruffians in Plunder?

4 RepliesEdited by magister1001: 11/3/2024 2:03:33 AMI stopped chasing them a few seasons ago whereas I used to have almost every triumph done. There were those dudes that spawned on the pirate season and you had to kill like 200 of them to get the triumph fully completed. And it was 2-3 per run and only if everyone didn’t run ahead. (Marauders I think). I think it was 50 for the title. That did it for me and I stopped. Now it’s a lot easier to let go any other stupid ones. Much easier now. But you have to let that “perfectionism / 100% completelionist” mindset drop for it. So it’s up to you. Just remember the only person that really cares about it is you. If you stop caring about something that really doesn’t matter then you won’t care. I’m still chasing most of the titles which I think this one may run in to unfortunately.

1 ReplyEdited by Hippo: 11/3/2024 1:45:32 PMIt's a side triumph, for personal achievement, not a single guardian is going to look into your triumphs and say youre not worthy of something because you didn't do the 50 runs, there's no loot tied to it, no exclusive emblem or other cosmetic, it's literally an extra number to add to your triumph score and all it shows is you like to grind stupid -blam!-. In other words, if it's annoying you then you can just ignore it, your the one setting this goal for yourself, not one single person cares if you have that triumph or not other than yourself. I'd totally understand your frustration if something was actually locked behind the triumph but there isn't it's just a score number. Take this however but you're the only one who's letting it affect you.

6 RepliesThere’s literally over 90 days left in the episode 1 completion a day and you’ll get it done with over a month left before the episode ends Geez yall get on here and cry as if people are pointing a gun at your head and telling you to complete these triumphs asap. It’s really not that deep
