Variety and the potential for people to make synergistic team builds could be engaging. Roles in a firefight as it were. It shouldn't be forced in all aspects of the game, but Trials Labs encouraging it could make things more interesting. I think people would benefit from not always -blam!- and being strictly meta in the competitive environments. There are lots of interesting and powerful builds that don't see the light of day cause people gravitate to the known cheese. I also think that people working in tandem correctly will always be stronger than any one person's cheese build. Having complementary weapons and builds with your fireteam is how the game should be played. Much of the community just lacks imagination.
