I did a lot solo. For example, the complete Khvostov 7G-06 (exotic) quest line. But I found it more frustrating than rewarding, like before. And a friend, a sherpa, who has every seal, said basically the same.
I miss a form of facility that the game once had. The Pale Heart has become boring, and I reduced my playtime drastically. I could participate in the new raid as a trainee, learning the mechanics, one after another, not being dragged, but my motivation is gone. Seriously, I had more fun with Lightfall, I wanted to do more.
I think Bungie damaged themselves monumentally over the years with their strategies. And that has also had an impact on their customers - on the incentive.

I don't get how they learned nothing from the community and press response to the Craftening. Making fun content regardless of difficulty is way more important and brings back way more players than this endless seeking of a perfect balance that will never come and doesn't matter.

Some level of difficulty and challenge is needed to engage you as a player, the craftening if it was a permanent thing would just be swinging completely in the opposite direction and would have the same end result. Why bother playing when anything I get doesn't matter because I can already 1 shot any enemy?

Edited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 8/12/2024 10:02:44 AMThe ignorance is unbeatable. Edit: Just to be fair, they did good work with some optimizations, but the time, they treated Destiny 2 like a virtual recycling company destroyed those efforts by far. Not that I wish them something bad, but I doubt that they will get back what they once had. And even if I understand the importance for a company like Bungie, of a content creator (a streamer), they are not the only ones, playing the game. They're less, a lot, even if their goal is to reach masses.
