Love the franchise, love the developers...
What's done is done.
Look at Dragon Age and Bioware... look at Ubisoft.
@Sony, do you want this IP and Studio to be worth something?
Remove Pete.
If you don't, the future is in the headlines past and present.
Does Sony want somebody like Pete Parsons?
No loyalty, fiscal incompetence and he accomplished what was needed. He's using this situation to enrich himself in failure.
Now that the takeover is assured, you don't want or need him anymore.
And anything he's attached to in the future is doomed to fail, tainted by his ethics, and he can't be trusted.
If you want to keep some of the actual talent that built that 3.4 billion dollar holding, you shouldn't keep him.
The sooner you remove him, the better it will be for the bottomline.
The best thing you can do to get ahead of this right now.
As it stands, there will be a mass exodus... devs... and amongst the community.
Honor is important to me, and Pete sold his for a garage full of classic cars... over the livelihood of his colleagues he's spent a decade with.
It's just business, help Pete to understand that reality. Keeping him on, in any capacity, will be a huge mistake.
The sooner the better, and then we can all start to move on.
"Hope for the Future".
Otherwise, you might as well sell the IP before it's completely worthless.
