@Sony & Bungie... a word.

Love the franchise, love the developers... What's done is done. Look at Dragon Age and Bioware... look at Ubisoft. @Sony, do you want this IP and Studio to be worth something? Remove Pete. If you don't, the future is in the headlines past and present. Does Sony want somebody like Pete Parsons? No loyalty, fiscal incompetence and he accomplished what was needed. He's using this situation to enrich himself in failure. Now that the takeover is assured, you don't want or need him anymore. And anything he's attached to in the future is doomed to fail, tainted by his ethics, and he can't be trusted. If you want to keep some of the actual talent that built that 3.4 billion dollar holding, you shouldn't keep him. The sooner you remove him, the better it will be for the bottomline. The best thing you can do to get ahead of this right now. As it stands, there will be a mass exodus... devs... and amongst the community. Honor is important to me, and Pete sold his for a garage full of classic cars... over the livelihood of his colleagues he's spent a decade with. It's just business, help Pete to understand that reality. Keeping him on, in any capacity, will be a huge mistake. The sooner the better, and then we can all start to move on. "Hope for the Future". Otherwise, you might as well sell the IP before it's completely worthless.

    I do agree with your position about wanting a better direction for destiny, but if you think any corporate shark that replaces Pete is gonna be any less greedy and unethical, you will end up sorely disappointed. The culture in corporate America is more more more and leaves no room for concessions. If you are a CEO concerned with ethics and not greedily wringing every penny out of the consumers without remorse for underhanded tactics, then you are a failure of a CEO to the investors. They love the corporate shark CEOs of the world because what they pay for is a person who has no qualms with selling their souls to make a profit. A person who makes no bones with having to axe who needs to go. A person who values the millions he'll be getting far more than the customers he'll be grifting and wallet grape-ing without remorse. The top of the corporate world is a many-headed Hydra and there is always another replacement if you cut one off.
