Being a 1.5 in comp has screwed me into this games absolutely horrible matchmaking thinking I can carry 0.4 players against 2+ players who don't miss headsets with 0.67 ttk pulse rifles. Will sit in comp matchmaking for 40+ minutes sometimes just so the poorly designed pvp game mode can match me into an un winnable match. Plain and simply unfair.

Its most definitely unfair but what's supposedly fair is that rather than practicing to get better some players are empowered to shame anyone that thinks a mode labeled competitive should actually be competitive. It can't be competitive if the lowest skilled players ultimately dictate how the mode works. Someone is going to have to pay the price, there are k/ds that fall into a "problematic" range that end up paying more of the price a lot of the time, and then we're all off to crazy town with the gaslighting and making stuff up to make it seem like that's the way the game should work and that's what's fair. There's just something about it being called competitive when things are being made up as they go by the people have the least experience with it. Also, the mode has actually been working better for me for the last couple days or so. Not sure why that is but I also fall into the problematic k/d range during those times where the mode is a broken mess and so I know exactly how you feel when people just start making stuff up that doesn't in any way match with what's going on on your screen. There's a lot of modes in the game where its not always the case but its not necessarily mean or evil to tell people of lower real world skill that they need to suck it up so they don't end up screwing other people over and causing everything to collapse in some mode or modes in the game.
