Sorry, not sorry, removing him is not going to save the game as some of you would like to think. It goes a lot deeper when it comes to what's wrong with the company/game and it's spreading across gaming.
One of the main issues is the devs not playing the game, and that means they are a huge part of the problem with what's wrong with the game. Just because people can code, it doesn't mean they are the right people for the job.
Look at 343 on how they destroyed Halo, and when you look at the original devs that designed and played Halo, you can easily see the huge difference between the 2.

Edited by GioC3ntr1c: 8/1/2024 3:18:16 PMAnd it seems foolish to admonish devs for not playing Destiny and in the same post point out that Bungie devs playing Halo made it good. Typically one would cite a new company for your example, instead of the same one that contributes to the problem you are alluding to.

Just wait for splitgate 2 to show everyone how to make a balanced pvp shooter. Halo was close but I’m excited since bungies been dropping the PvP ball.
And it seems foolish to admonish a devs for not playing Destiny and in the same post point out that Bungie devs playing Halo made it good.
You might want to think before making a reply because playing the game gives a person a much better experience to see what's going on.

I'm not interested in looking at something you posted. Everyone knows for a fact that hands on experience gives anyone a lot more Knowledge on what they are doing.

Edited by GioC3ntr1c: 8/1/2024 4:14:51 PMSad as the 0:18 second clip applies to this situation perfectly. And game devs aren’t interested in your hot takes. If you genuinely believe that Destiny 2 devs don’t play test and play their game simply because you are not satisfied with the game’s balance, you should understand your sight is as short as the Looney Tunes character you use as an alias. Comparing a live service looter shooter to an RPG like it’s the same playing field is wild. And even worse using the same devs for both examples. The devs play the game. They just don’t no life the game. Or have 100% choice on what gets implemented in the game. Idk if it’s one too many Datto or Aztecross videos making you think playtime transparency is expected, but you are never going to see a dev posting video proof of how much they play, or giving any kind of proactive stance on a metah (outside of notifying players of changes). What fantasy world are you living in?

TL, DR I'll just agree to disagree.

Good. At least there’s one thing you put thought into.

Then bunji wanted to be free from Microsoft’s so microsoft got the rights to halo then told 343 to make new halo games 4, 5, infinite, etc and 343 decided to hire people who didn’t like halo instead of bunji devs who wanted to work on halo again.
