Question..........when some players start saying that it's nothing more than catering to "sweats" and "no-lifers," how it isn't fair because everybody deserves the same rewards, what would the solution be?

the point of the exercise is to reward high skill and dedicated players who take there time and patience to reach these tip spots not everyone plays gms and pvp to the fullest it's not for the casual player and wouldn't effect there everyday gaming if they became involved if they cared enough they can practice and compete there is no room for complaints about same rewards to all players it more for players who understand the game and want to show that they do it's also a solo board no teams so ego shouldn't be an issue

Wow, I feel like we're talking in circles; forget I even asked because you obviously don't understand the question.
-
Uh ok buddy
-
Simply competing would give rewards gaining top 10 would grant double, essentially it would be the same as double reward weeks but only for the top 10 players (activity specific) the majority of players would get xp bonuses and increased reward drops in form of engram ( not activity specific) so if your really good at pvp and get top 10 you get double loot drops from pvp for the hole week.

That didn't answer the question.
-
It wouldnt be a competition if the rewards were the same for everyone including the winners
-
I know that and you clearly know that but again, that wasn't the question. What will you suggest Bungie do when players complain about how it's unfair? After all, they do that now.

They could also increase the top spot from 10 to 100 to allow more players to gain benefits
