Failsafe is the cutest character
I love it when she goes "beepboopbeepboopbeepboop!" when scanning. It's so adorable and wholesome.

For me, they made her the MOST ANNOYINGH character. Absolutely detest what they are doing with the game now.

Put her in an exo-frame and give her a railgun-style linear fusion rifle.

1 ReplyMeanwhile, everything in this game is so crazy, full of tears and pain, that Failsafe almost gives hope ... even in the deepest darkness there is a crazy AI that wants a railgun.

Failsafe has always been my favorite character in this game, especially when she asks us to explode things. She has always reminded me of April from Parks and Rec, which adds a full 2 letter grades.

I'm also a massive Claptrap fan. ;)

I did not originally like Failsafe but she is much better this season, so that's a plus.

She is the best part of the season. I always loved entering the code for her commentary in last wish.

I had the exact opposite reaction. I felt super pandered to. Stuff just doesn't feel natural. It never has though. Like when the tower first was under attack by the Cabal, Ikora gave some way derivative speech about how strong and determined we are and it was just... it just felt like it wasn't self-aware in the slightest. It felt like something from Avengers.

1 ReplyYeah. Because comic relief characters in Destiny always work out. After all, Fynch and Nimbus have been all but forgotten, and Cayde has been killed off twice. Those low IQ Marvel quips don't work here and they never will.
