No, this feeling bad for people who knew what they were doing working for a developer who has been at this for 30+ years is wrong. Anyone that stayed with them knew what was going on, and that is on them. I know, telling the truth is not allowed on this forum. I'm the bad guy, right?
This baby the developer hogwash needs to be buried.
This is the only community that I know of where a developer manipulated their community into feeling sorry for them. They are a business to make money, they knew what they were doing manipulating the player base into buying their product.
Enough is enough, it is time for this developer to let someone else run the show and see what takes place from there.

Confusing devs and executive teams is like the new favorite hobby of this forum lol.

Bro has never worked a day in his life. Imagine dissing the workers for something upper management did 😂

Edited by Candy: 8/1/2024 1:37:19 PMImagine thinking “ upper management “ are dev and have given us the content that has been universally hated lol Pete isn’t writing narratives or designing activities or telling devs what to time gate. What to put in pathfinder. Stop smoking. The devs killed their own game
Bro has never worked a day in his life. Imagine dissing the workers for something upper management did 😂
Oh, so knowing you can't blame it all on Activation, and you most definitely can't blame it all on Sony, so now it's let's blame it all on upper management? Damn, you kids will look for anything these days🫤
-
Yeah, because the upper management are at fault. It's never the workers because they don't call the shots lmao. Just proving you've never worked before with every post

Just proving you've never worked before with every post
Actually, it's more than that because a good leader listens to their developers and some of the best games out today that are well down games being multiplayer or not proves you wrong. Upper management didn't make the calls on how to design the content in this game, and it's more than obvious you didn't know that. Being a developer or not, and you being as naive as you are has nothing to do with what has taken place. You can blow hot air all you want, but that's all you got and I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous you look. Thanks for the laugh bud.

You'll understand one day when you get a job but the workers don't get much of a say in what gets done. To make it more relatable to you, let's say you're working at McDonald's. If you make a burger a specific way then your manager tells you you have to start doing it completely different and the public end up complaining. Do you think you're to blame since you were doing your job how your boss told you or is it your bosses fault since he's the one calling the shots and telling you what to do?
-
You think the CEO of Macdonald’s in telling storefront workers how to do anything? Have you worked a day in your life? I doubt Pete and senior management knows 20% of what goes into the nuances of what the base loves and hates about the game. Everything the base loves and everything that drives players away in regard to gameplay are all DEV, Dev lead head dev choices none of those are executive management or board positions within the company
You'll understand one day when you get a job but the workers don't get much of a say in what gets done.
This is all I read and it's 100% BS, and it tells me you are naive because I have a say at my job, and have had a say in many companies I have worked for. The job I have now the boss always asks for my input when it comes to dealing with the customers on how to handle things because I have been taking care of the same customer for over 6 years now. It all depends on the company you are working for and from what I gathered all your jobs have been garbage. Sucks to be you 😄
-
when it comes to dealing with the customers on how to handle things
That right there is all I need to see 😂 You think dealing with a customer is the same as actually manufacturing/providing a product. Asking a customer if they want any sauce with their meal is completely different and the fact you don't understand that is actually hilarious
-
Wrong again Damn, dude, get your story straight because pushing the goalpost isn't working for you.
-
No goalposts have been moved, you're just playing on the wrong field

sounds like someone doesn’t understand how dev studios are structured lol

i think azmondgold said it best, who came out with the idea that you need to feel bad for people when they -blam!- up at their job, if bungie wants to keep doubling down on a crap product, they are only entitled to loosing money
