Come on now, this was expected.
Looking at how they mishandled this game for the last few years that was in plain sight said way more than enough, and catering to "content creators/streamers" really did make matters worse in a lot of the decisions they made for the game.
Funny how none of them will ever take responsibility for their actions, not even upper management. Just pass the buck so they don't have to deal with it. Not this time "Bungie" because there is no one to bail you out of your mess anymore.

Yeah everyone with a single wrinkle in their brain saw this coming a mile away
-
Now these content creators are abandoning ship… they scream Bungie Cooked and now month later they are realizing they were caught with nostalgia and served false hopes
-
That false hope has never worked on me, but it's scary to think about how easy it has worked on many others.

Forsaken dlc was great time… my clan, friends list was active day in day out… now I only have three or one if am lucky… now it’s just empty wasteland like the pale heart… Nessus seems more alive due to episode taking place there…

Edited by Yosemite Sam: 8/1/2024 12:47:01 AMForsake was the only time this game has ever been in a good place since it was released. I really enjoyed it, and after that expansion, the game just started going downhill and it never stopped. That's why the player base is dropping off, nothing improves in this game being in this developer's hands. The only thing they managed to do was sell the idea they were improving the game while selling gimmicks.

Forsaken was great time, PvP was awesome and not full of meta sweats… new players wanted to learn raids and sherpas willing to teach… we didn’t realize that was going to be peak D2 at that moment of time
