You assume it was successful, day 1 & day 2 numbers were well below WQ & LF, I did wonder how it actually did.
An analyst said way back in Jan that no matter how well FS did or didn't do, layoffs would follow.

I didn't assume it was a success, I just repeated what Bungie said in their post. The part where they said tfs was a success
-
Fair ,but bungie do use smoke & mirrors & hide the truth. Success in their eyes may not be success for the rest of us. Wasnt arguing & I haven't seen anything by bungie, just saw a random tweet.
-
Nah it's cool. There's a post by them on this app, it's pretty long and says alot. I generally don't have much sympathy for bungie
-
I just read it on twitter. 375 staff gone, just 850 left, was 1400 not long ago.
-
Definitely if the trend continues, bungie would end up being dissolved by Sony At some point
-
When I read they paid over 1b of the sale price in staff expenses, then the Sony boss visited Seattle & said the Devs clearly had passion & talent, that they start taking them to other studios. 220 fired, 155 moved to Sony. Those 155 will be the goats & destiny will ultimately suffer. On a brighter note, the main writer who made the game wokestiny 2, just got laid off

Maybe act 3 or episode 2 will be free from this love story constantly shoved to your face
