l been telling ya all along ,bungies increase in mechanics and difficulty only was good for the top 10% of players. but bungie doubled down on it and killed the game. streamers should of kept there yacking down for more difficulty it not only killed destiny it runs them out of a job.

Imagine putting those shitty raid mechanics in simple strikes and campaign missions. Everyone that came up with that idea because they listened to streamere got what was coming to them. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
-
Nah the increase of mechanics and "difficulty" didnt killed the game lmao The mechanics added are basic at best and when it comes to difficulty, unless you are playing in endgame with bad gear you are basically an immortal god. What is currently killing d2, is the lack of content, with zero expectation for new raids/dungeons/dlc etc... And seasons...i mean episodes are as boring as ever with content made for 10yo players when it comes to difficulty. My friendlist that used to have 3 to 4 pages of players connected is now...2 or 3 players at best. Ive been giving up on the game as well tbh, nothing worth chasing, and nowhere to use the gear anyways.

Yup. Anecdotal but the game has been dying by my count for years. 3-4 full pages to 2-3 players in the last few years

I normally just play Trials and I’ll probably do 10-25 raid completions to get the red borders. Maybe do a Master raid to get the season rank to max. I’ll do the dungeons on Master and do solo flawless etc. And let me tell you it’s not easy finding people who know the entire raid. Even in normal difficulty I have to be Sgt Bilko. Master runs on LFG are a nightmare. And when I saw the new raid I just noped. Absolutely not. It’ll take forever. I’d rather just get my loot for Trials elsewhere.

I've completed the new raid many times. But.....it was a failure for the new dlc. Turned away many many players. The 4th encounter killed the game for many. Bungie catered to streamers for the raid and they got what they deserved. The Lfg listings for this raid were much lower than previous raids. Instead of go woke go broke...go streamers go broke. -
Lfg postings are dead. Only a handful of master challenge posts. I was literally looking for a normal chill raid group for two hours last night. They listened to streamers who wanted the hardest raid ever and killed the game. And the funny part is the director that was responsible for all this got his exit package and left in february.

Snowflakes can just ignore that though, you can't just be an adult and ignore difficulty.
-
Average mechanics from previous destiny experiences that are easier to grasp than they were from their original introduction= doubling down on top players apparently
-
Let it be etched here in stone that Bungie failed because the average player couldn't pour water out of a cup if the instructions were written on the bottom.

Edited by Killapete232: 7/31/2024 9:15:47 PMSo it's the players fault 3 weeks of challenges were not accounted for? Therefore it's the players fault for having to complete said challenges again utilizing FTF LFG to try and find teams with lack of egotistical neanderthal mindsets? No it's Bungie's fault not the playerbase. What is the playerbases fault is not trying to help each other get better, to learn and help others. A guide video can only go so far experience is learned and gained for trying.
What is the playerbases fault is not trying to help each other get better, to learn and help others. A guide video can only go so far experience is learned and gained for trying
Oh no, we tried teaching. It's just that a lot of people are incapable of learning. If I make a person do something in a raid that isn't ad clear I'm met with resistance, and when I ask if anyone wants to learn the mechanics it's crickets. People don't wanna learn. They want to get carried to their loot.

Edited by Killapete232: 8/1/2024 3:18:45 AMVery true and the reason that is the case is because the leadership is non existent, and that's on Bungie not the players.

You are right though, the average player doesn't want to have to watch a video and beg for a "teaching run", die over and over for hours, or risk getting kicked from an lfg group. That's why the average players don't engage in endgame; it's a broken system. People wouldn't have to be carried if activities were designed for fun, or at least more learnable.
-
And that's why players are afraid to learn. No one wants to be the reason why -blam!- hits the fan. With proper leadership I can take anyone even players of different languages through master challenges it may be hard to do so but I made miracles happen. Time commitment is the biggest restraint too, not a lot of players have time to learn and do want that carry. Sherpa life is not easy.

“It’s the players fault!” 👴😂
-
Doesn’t help the game though.
-
What does this have to do with what I said?
-
What does this have to do with what I said?
Not sure if my reply as mobile is wonky. Players can follow instructions if they're reasonable.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
LOOOOOOOL! you are cold as ice! 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
-
Yet the bad players only blame everyone but themselves.
-
Most bad players I know, know they’re bad. Fortunately, they know when a crappy video game is crap too.
