Two reasons for this to be a terrible idea.
The first being hardware limitations, for example comparing with a game like Monster Hunter: Rise from the Switch to the PC version, it is not even a contest. Both in graphics and processing power, the Switch simply is not able to handle it as well.
Secondly, anyone with a Switch can tell you Nintendo Online is horrible for online play, constant connection loss and input lag. Even something as simple as Animal Crossing or Pokemon can barely handle online play.
I love my Switch and has a lot of uses but it just isn't the right console for Destiny.

I’ll agree with the graphics and processing but the online for Nintendo isn’t any different in my opinion than Xbox or PlayStation plus , I’ve plaid games like overwatch and fortnight on the switch and even warface and never had any online issues with Nintendo

I can't say as I have played any of those games as I absolutely refuse to give Blizzard any time or money, detest Third Person Shooters, and Controller isn't something I enjoy for aiming. But I am shocked to hear that you haven't had a miserable online service experience as every other game that is marketed as online has been pretty terrible in my own experience.

From my point where I had an Xbox and my wife had a PlayStation the online experience for those games I mentioned was the same as on the switch I just enjoyed the online experience a bit more cause I could play my games and walk around the house like I could play overwatch in my living room and then if I wanna move to the bedroom I can imagine that but with destiny 2
