•
I've said it before, they should have never left Micosoft.
Kinda ironic how way back when Bungie was held on a chain by Microsoft, they paid their price to be free... Then go and get bought out by Activision to be under control again.... They pay their due to get out, cheer about it....then... They go and get bought by Sony. Cycle repeats. Bungie just can't seem to wanna stay independant, it's like they're allergic to it, at this point Sony should just renegotiate the contract and forcefully absorb Bungie as a whole into another Sony owned/created studio and let go of those who are way too wealthy, payraise those whom have been working hard day in day out because those at Bungie who have been just killing it in the sound, graphics, etc department deserve to be paid more to at least live a decent comfortable life (house, food, etc)...

 • We wouldn't have gotten destiny if they stayed. That's the reason they left.

 • That’s just stupid, they all were the problem. Look at Activision now

 • No, both were the problem. You had 1 company that was trying a new ip idea that worked, but slow on putting out content (bungie); and another company that wanted content churned out quarterly and annually (activision). That wasn't gonna work lol. After they left, then the blame is on bungie.

 • I would have traded that for them sticking with the Halo franchise. Hell, they might even have made a destiny'esque Halo game - since Destiny is basically Halo anyway, with different skins.

 • They didn't want to work on halo anymore, the product would've suffered. Also, it would've sucked for anyone without an Xbox, like me lol. And no, destiny is not basically lol.

 • They didn’t want to work in Destiny anymore. Which is why it suffered

 • After what Microsoft did to so many other devs like Bethesda and Tango, you seriously believe that?

 •
After what Microsoft did to so many other devs like Bethesda and Tango, you seriously believe that?
Do not compare modern day garbage Micro$oft to old golden era pre-343i Microsoft.

 • Please. Microsoft has always been clueless. Remember the Red Ring of Death? Or how about them buying Rare because they thought it would give them the rights to Donkey Kong? They never should have gotten into the gaming industry.

They never should have gotten into the gaming industry.
As much as these were failures you cannot deny that the best era was Halo 1,2,3,reach,odst and games from other studios Back then studios made games for gamers, now look post-2015 or so and they all care more about "live service" "loot boxes" "season pass" "cash shop stuff for $$" etc The X360 was a fumble, i only got the RROD on my first 360 and then my replacement, but my 2nd replacement (which i still have and still works despite having not been turned on in yeeeears except once like a few months ago just to see if it still turns on, it's the last newer fat models before the 360 slim) stood the test of time. Lucky enough i never had the yellow light of death on ps3 slim unlike a majority of people back then who had been afflicted by that on theirs (vanilla ps3 and slim model) Owned a launch ps4 that i gave away to a clanmate, own a launch ps4 pro (white model that had D2 come with it, was the D2 edition) that i don't use, now use a PS5 (pre-PS5 slim model launch)

 • It could still have happened with Microsoft.

 • Yeah, maybe. Bungie would have much less of a stake... but they did recently close a bunch of studios that were making great games.
