Edited by jhermannITJ: 7/31/2024 4:12:47 AMYou're welcome. I was looking for something special, something off-meta but META, for Hunters. My main. But I was struggling to think of something that wasn't so skill gap like a swap, like my LP Stareater. I thought about teaching people Dragon's Shadow rotations... but nobody is going to run that even if I post the dps charts. I was thinking about a Sidearm build, but that's really limiting. And I don't think the chest exotic is best on Prismatic, and these Gloves do more & accomplish the same thing. I wanted something cool, and tbh... even though I was talking about the GL, I hadn't even considered Mothkeepers for Hunter until you mentioned it. I like the GL better with the Warlock kit, and I like Ascension better than Gunpowder Gamble. I tried a bunch of different weapons, and this might not be its Final Form, I like to fiddle with stuff... but I still wanted to post it. All the weapons are attainable by anyone w the Final Shape. You can get the pulse from Onslaught, the RS is craft'able, and the Trace should be attainable for anyone... you might have to watch a youtube vid... but the Co-Op missions have matchmaking. It's really flexible in any PvE including Boss DPS viability if you dial in the simple Trace DPS rotation I explained: Ability Spam out... not required. Pop Transcendence (Buffs your weapons and super) Super, S&S or Tether (Buffs your Heavy Kinetic Trace... for Boss DPS, switch Solar Surge to Kinetic Surge) Nade Trace Focus, spaming abilities in concert. That's it, really easy.

I haven't tried the build out yet, but I already see one slight............. issue.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 7/31/2024 4:06:12 AMWhat's that? If you don't have the Trace yet, you can use other weapons... it will still be great. You might have to edit some stuff. And if you have Buried Bloodline, it will probably set this kit off. If it's something else, maybe I made a mistake... I just put it together and welcome insight and critique.

No no, none of that. The Exotic.........it's hideous and impossible to match any ornaments with! 😭

Edited by jhermannITJ: 7/31/2024 4:18:21 AMI think I did okay, lol. It's not as good as my Stareater fit, but it has glows and animations, the Eater Helmet is fire, imo. My StarEater's Fit

Believe me, it's not for lack of effort. I spent probably 30-45 minutes the other night after I read your post trying all manner of things and it just doesn't..........doesn't quite...........you know?

You need to find shaders and ornaments that kinda hide the big *** Moth on your shoulder, lol. I tried. I like it 🙃.

That's really the issue with it, I think. I tried some of the ornaments from Season of the Witch, some chitin-looking ones, anything with a natural feel about them and just......nothing worked for me. I don't know, after the time I wasted I realized I wanted to actually get some things done aside from screwing around in orbit for an hour, so I threw in the towel for the time being. I'll get back to it, though.

I get that, I get frustrated w Transmog too. It takes forever to get some things to look good.

You know, it would be so much easier if there wasn't a cap on the stupid Synthweave bounties......just saying............🤔

That... AND the interface still needs work. Like automatic pop-up previews without having to cycle out, cycle in... Better organization... grouped by main color types for shaders, these are the "purply" ones... and they just automatically group up as you get them. Get an artist, to curate and define hidden tags for each shader and ornament... then a script that keeps things organized. Same with ornaments, curated hidden tags that create parity groups visually. Or how about "Custom Shaders"... all the textured tiles you've unlocked from other shaders... that store in a color palette menu where you can create... 5 custom... save'able shaders? An entire favorites tab for Shaders...like 20... same for Ornaments... and then like 10 vanity loadouts... just the "drip" as the kids' say. And how about a randomizer? I want all that. It needs to be better.

The moment I saw someone mention a palette wheel I knew that's what it had to be; no other options would suffice. As for the new shader "design," it looks cool and all but honestly, I had an easier time finding what I was after with the old style. For the ornaments themselves, I can manage with those I just want the ability to unlock more of them but without buying Synthweave Templates or whatever they're called. I may want more but I certainly don't need more. Not enough to warrant spending real money on them, anyway.
