Okay so Destiny 2 has high cpu usage that’s one issue with the Nintendo switch but what if they make a cloud version for the Nintendo switch like what control did with its game it makes it so you are just streaming a game from a server to your device if anything it would be worth a shot to try and bring it to the switch in some shape or fashion
What makes you think D2 could run on some old old OLD antiquated 2015 tegra X1 chip?

 • The OP isn’t asking for D2 to run on the switch. As you say the switch hardware couldn’t run it at any decent level. They’re asking for it to work the same way as Control does on Switch. Where it’s basically a cloud version that runs on servers and is streamed to the Switch. I’m not sure how well that would work. While Control does run well, it’s internet/bandwidth dependent. I tried D2 on Stadia (most similar concept I’ve tried) and performance was pretty poor for me.

 • Exactly thank you if it’s a cloud server streamed game it wouldn’t be dependent on hardware secs to run as it wouldn’t be as taxing it would be more internet based Control on my switch ran great for a cloud based game tho they are internet dependent it would be a good way to run the game Plus if they just make it all cloud based or linked with all systems they can just have one account that can have all your guardians move between systems without having to sign into and cross save multiple accounts

 •
What makes you think it can’t have you tried it no I think not
Bruh you're asking an absolute potato device with a 2015 chip in it to run a game that's demanding as D2, be realistic here. Theres a reason 3/4ths of D2 was vaulted and it was to alleviate the game engine stress (and space usage), which was for older gen consoles The old garbage Nintendo Switch cannot run D2 at an acceptable framerate & decent graphics

 • I’m being realistic your the one who isn’t D2 is the same as D1 and a 360 could play that and not look like a potato and some 360 didn’t even have hdmi so it’s not about quantity or quality there are games that have just as much as d2 on The switch and they run fine and have graohics just as good or better than Xbox one and ps4 You keep arguing about a chip but no proof or other reason why it wouldn’t be possible

If you weren't you'd know theres a huge difference, which on PC is even better, so no it isn't "just the same as PS4" Also my proof why the Switch wouldn't be able to run it? Need i show you the varying games that had been made for this old dying hardware that just couldn't run right because of the Switch being unable to fulfill the demand? Where have you been, Switch games are heavily downgraded and locked to 30fps just to even be stable, who in their right mind would buy a Switch (came out in 2017) to play games that are on other consoles and pc? Not going to waste my time with you, whom thinks D2 in it's current state could run on something like the Xbox 360 etc or that D2 is somehow the same as D1 in terms of graphics. Lol yeah better GPUs in a pc? Baah don't need it let's just all use old hardware to play games :) /s

 • Dude I haven’t played destiny since beyond light when I had an Xbox One And you are wrong on that whole 30fps bs -blam!- Minecraft runs 60 fps and a bunch of other games all findable by actually googling something instead of stating facts that aren’t 100% Destiny 2 is listed as playable at 30 fps and runs smooth at 60 fps which the switch is capable of that so what’s your point besides proving me right

No, it is not, because it's a game that is easily run by anything. Same goes for whatever else super low graphically complex games as well. The Switch cannot run modern demanding games even if you nerf them to look like garbage just to have a steady framerate.
Destiny 2 is listed as playable at 30 fps and runs smooth at 60 fps which the switch is capable of that so what’s your point besides proving me right
No way? Really? Like how it is on old gen? Gee i didn't know, not like D2 hasn't been around for a very long time or anything and came out when the launch PS4 Pro (& Slim model) was a thing... /s It only runs at 60fps (and 120 if in pvp w/ a 120hz monitor) on PS5/XboxseriesX/PC To say anything older can is a lie, people on old consoles like PS4Pro and below are playing the game at 30fps AND are playing it on a worse game build, we have a seperate game build for PS5/SeriesX (migrating from PS4 to PS5 means you either play D2 locked at 30fps on the old build for old gen or.. redownload the full game made for PS5 to yknow, see just what you're missing, once at 60fps you never go back, PC players have it better than us as better hardware means better looking game, uncapped FPS, bigger monitor support etc)
