Dude, for real. I wanna play the moment that comes out (maybe even earlier ngl.) cause the concept of it all sounds so cool. Then after watching that one dude’s breakdown of the AI system and game mechanics. Gah! And the designs. My goodness the art! Plus I just read Blame! and I feel like there’s some of that sprinkled there, which is neat.
I hope there’s character customization…
OMG I KNOWWWWW
This
Only thing is, we've seen these things promised by bigger studios with way more resources, is the tech there and will they be able to make it happen?

 • Well it seems they’ve already got the thing going, and the concept seems pretty simple enough in the breakdown. I saw some early gameplay and it’s got some problems of choppy frames and stuff (probably fixed) and there may be bugs. But other gameplay I saw looked fine. They might need to polish the menu UI’s, and maybe some animations. The items with long names (guns) look a little cluttered. The font looks cool, but too many letters in a small square is still too many. However, I think it’s definitely possible, since most of the game is just two computers playing chess using squads of game assets.
you probably already knows how they’ve got a sorta power point system -like XCOM2’s multiplayer- to keep things from going overkill and to prioritize targets. Like a squad of soldiers might take a pot shot if you walk by with a pistol, shot at you if you’re holding a bigger gun, or not give a crud if they’re already engaged with someone bigger. And then the spacing of groups like hexagons on a map, like, “Pockets of gameplay(safety?)” or something. Pretty shrimple concepts but also pretty jenius.
I do think the hardest part will be making sure the AI doesn’t break, so I’d say give it some time and a lot of testing. (I want to be testing) but I have faith, since indie games have been coming up in the world. (Definitely ambitious, but realistic and they’ve already got that foothold imo)
