Rapid fire doesn’t do anything since you can set all your weapons to shoot in full auto in the settings

Erm, what about Polaris Lance or Disparity from the other end of the map? I've been rapid fired on by these in game, on Xbox and have reported accordingly. When you get whacked by PL with "one shot" from nowhere you'll appreciate the context better.
-
Isn’t Polaris’s exotic perk that the 5th headshot is a one shot?
-
Yes, when it's the 5th shot, Not the first, that's my point.
-
That's not the kind of full auto of which you're thinking. The kind of full auto that a modded controller with software can do, is make a pulse shoot like an auto rifle with no recoil.
-
It’s quite literally impossible to do that
-
That's quite literally possible. I have witnessed it and seen others that have captured it in game. There were also people who haphazardly posted themselves doing so on YouTube. Go do some research before stating something is impossible.
-
No that’s not what you witnessed. I’m 99.9% certain the things you describe aren’t what they are. The same way people swear they saw a ghost or a ufo. The same way people swear they saw someone shooting through walls only for it to be obvious lag. Not saying you’re lying. Just that you don’t know what you saw
-
Ok buddy guardian. You keep telling me what I didn't see on YouTube. Have fun telling other people what they saw was not what they saw. I'm sure you're very fun at parties.
-
It’s tough to hear I know. But it’s true. An overwhelming majority of what people think they see isn’t actually what happened. Your case isn’t special
-
Wrong. Modded controllers cannot increase a weapon's rate of fire.
-
I’ve played multiple people lately shooting Claws of the Wolf in full on auto rifle mode - there is no burst. And it looks to me like they’re hip firing for the .4 seconds it takes to kill me.
-
Mega cope It’s a rapid fire frame so the networking jank made it seem that way
