All fireteam leader permissions should be removed after 90 seconds into an encounter. This would completely stop this from happening while also allowing the leader to kick griefers as long as it's done within 90 seconds of the encounter beginning.

I wouldn't like that. Had a guy last week that started acting like a -blam!- to everyone mid encounter (Verity) and kicked him before we wiped so he wouldn't get the checkpoint. (He was already very arrogant when he joined but I give the benefit of doubt before kicking) Best thing is just report them. I would like for (if possible) you still get rewards once a boss is killed and for the Fireteam leader to be suspended for kicking at that point. Very far stretch but it would be kinda nice.

Seems like an edge case and even if he gets the checkpoint... so what? That won't affect anything other than maybe your ego. This change would prevent bad-acting fireteam leaders from kicking people right as you finish the encounter, which is more important.

If someone is being Toxic, you go to orbit and kick them, it's a change that would only negatively effect trolls Once the encounter begins, Remove From Fireteam should be disabled , period. Wouldn't change anything for legit players

No it would affect the team as well. Red boarder chest. Salvation's edge even has the memento for clearing in one full run.
-
The issue is the Extra Red Border chest for the newer raids. You have to do that in a full run and if you go to orbit, you lose that chest (and mod in the case for Salvation's Edge). Trolls can still get the last laugh. That'll punish more players because now, you can lose the red border because you need to kick someone for being an -blam!-.
-
You could kick someone before the encounter starts, that wouldn't effect the red border chest for the remaining players
Had a guy last week that started acting like a -blam!- to everyone mid encounter (Verity) and kicked him before we wiped so he wouldn't get the checkpoint.
Thats my point, along with it being a nightmare to code. He was a fill in and we hadn't wiped yet with him so I kicked him so he would get no benefit.

Now, I dont know whether the Destiny Spaghetti Code prevents this from being possible.... but thats actually a brilliant suggestion. I will bang that drum along with you.
