Ehhh I don't think ex diris makes the cut, even with moth keepers as well it's a questionable choice.
It does so so damage, only blinds on kill when other legendary GLs only require hits, amplified is generally pretty easy to get on all classes

Edited by jhermannITJ: 7/29/2024 5:48:29 PMIt does. It's dmg was buffed alongside the GL change, has more ammo. It absolutely makes the cut. Legendary GLs don't have built in Demo, Puglist, and Strategist... This one does. There's 4 exotic heavys worth using and they're all for focused DPS rotations. This topic was about Prismatic synergy. That's what this weapon is for, where it dominates... it's not just good. Disagree all you want, you're wrong about its viability and potency. 😇 👍💠

Even with the damage buff, the damage isn't there. This GL does NOT have demo, pugilist, or Strategist on it let alone all 3. Please quote the description that says it does. For reference, here are the two perks and catalyst that are unique to the weapon
Corrupted Nucleosynthesis This weapon enrages when dealing or taking sustained damage, gaining increased rate of fire while enraged. Loyal Moths Final blows with this weapon create a loyal moth. The moth will seek out nearby targets and detonate, damaging and blinding them. Berserk Rush Weapon enrages faster while amplified. Final blows with this weapon make you amplified.
Exotic heavys are out of season, but exotic specials aren't and there are many better ones out there that synergize with prismatic more. Exotic primaries are also worth it with the large amount of good legendary specials. I'm not wrong about anything here. The weapon is Mid at best. You can like it, you can even think it's really fun, but you're kidding yourself if you think it's good.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 7/29/2024 8:05:05 PMYou're just speaking in generalities. You are wrong. Either you don't use it, or don't know how to use it. You're welcome to not like it, you can even think it's really boring, but you're fooling yourself if you think it's bad. And it provides all those benefits, I outline exactly how with prismatic and artifact synergy, Nancy No Turret in particular that is also described in this topic's comments. It it's a great option for arc blind objectives in pathfinder. If you need to proc amplify without fragments/aspects/abilities; it's the only weapon that does it. You're way underselling it. And again, it's all about the synergy and setup. That's what you're obviously missing. And if you weren't, you would know how it has strategist, demo, and pugilist without needing me to hold your hand + an on-demand DR boon. The info is still here though.
And it provides all those benefits, I outline exactly how with prismatic and artifact synergy
Sounds like the you're giving ex diris credit for subclass and artifact perks doing the heavy lifting. Using 1 arc ability isn't a big ask. And since we are bringing up artifact perks. Just use the one that gives amplified for picking up an orb. If I'm going to equip a middle of the pack exotic for pathfinder blinding objectives, I'm just going to use queenbreaker since that activates on hit and is much more consistent with going where I aim it and activates instantly.
And if you weren't, you would know how it has strategist, demo, and pugilist without needing me to hold your hand + on demand DR boon.
It literally doesn't have any of that. That is from the artifact and subclass, not the weapon. In fact. The exact same build would perform better with a demo/wellspring forbearance because it would activate EVERYTHING you already mentioned, plus actually have demo, wellspring, and indomitability for even more ability Regen, plus it would free up your exotic slot I'm not underselling the gun. You're overselling it by giving it credit for activating subclass effects and artifact perks that other weapons will activate just as well. You're welcome to like the gun. But stop acting like it's anywhere near meta.
