Game crashing upon starting final encounter of Salvations Edge raid

D2 usually never has any major problems running on my PC, and very rarely will it crash. I lock FPS to 165, and it usually runs at that Hz very well. However, I've noticed that my game will freeze and crash the very moment that the Witness encounter of the Salvations Edge raid begins. I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that it is the first thing I do on the game upon loading into orbit (running for exotic then getting off right after), but no matter how long I stay in the final encounter's arena before officially starting the fight, the game has a high chance of crashing for me. Normally, after this happens once, I'll restart the game and it will be fine afterwards, but the most recent time I've tried, it crashed, then crashed again after restarting the game, then crashed a third time in a row after restarting the whole PC. Not sure if this is only a "me" thing, but this PC was built ~7-8 months prior to this issue starting, and I think my specs are more than qualified to run this game on medium-high settings (1440p 165 fps). My PC specs: Ryzen 7 7800X3D RX 6750XT 32 GB DDR5 RAM PCIe Gen 5 SSD

  • Hey I run similar specs to yours and I having this exact same issue. I run a 7900 GRE and a 7500F. This also only happens in this specific encounter in destiny 2.
