Right now additional drops of bad start armor or raid weapons you already have craftable are entirely wasted. It would be nice if they dismantled into some spoils so you at least get something for your troubles.

3 RepliesWish there was player to player trading. I’m sitting on like 600 spoils without a use for them.

Like some kind of in store credit??? Are you out of your mind?!?! Bungie would like to maintain the status quo of ill compensation #2tokens&aBlue

It’s the next thing that makes sense. Used to be raid specific alloy but they did away with that

Hell yeah. Great idea.

Yeah, even if it was 3 or 5 it’d be a good boost. I’d maybe exclude the chest purchase ones if possible, but that’s not the highest importance.

That is one of the few actually good and beneficial changes I've seen some bring up on here. Obviously, though, bungie would have to make it so at least gives a reasonable amount but not such a large amount that it makes completing other encounters useless. The rotator raids would definitely get farmed more for people wanting to get a bunch of spoils piled up.

4 RepliesWhat's funny is that this was sort of how it went in D1. There were mats tied to the raid to upgrade your weapons and gear. You could earn them in encounters or by dismantling an item earned in there that you did not want. I'm honestly not surprised in the back pedaling they did as it has only made it harder to earn red bordered raid weapons.
