What they should do is make it so non overthrow chests have NO chance to drop the exotic.
No sympathy for the cheaters using macros. Actually learn how to play the game instead of cheating.

Hey great analysis genius, you forgot just one thing - to even be able to macro to begin with, those players would have had to beat dual destiny mission first. They already know how to play the game. The reason they are macroing is...well if you were capable of reading, you would have already known why considering OP spells it out plainly and even links to Mactics who had a thoroughly analytical breakdown of it too.

They aren't good points at all tho. They all boil down to "I'm entitled and want rewards NOW for no effort". Forgetting that this is a MMO. Like I said, they should make non-oberthrow chests 0% chance to drop them to stop macro cheaters completely.

Edited by ISOL4TE: 7/26/2024 12:27:38 AMSo you can't read, and you ALSO can't count. 400 hours to get an item you want goes well past the feeling of entitlement. And keep in mind this isn't 400 hours of passive play. This is 400 hours of actively, nonstop, grinding the dual mission. Which you would have understood if you could for ONE SECOND stop talking out your -blam!- and go watch the actual video by Mactics.
-
You're trying to argue made up numbers xD That's the point. "400 hours" xD I got the drop I wanted in about 2 hours. In the end it's still an mmo and destiny's drop chances are FAR better than most mmos. Common drops percentage for rare items in most are .01% per activity. That's just to get the item alone. Duel Destiny being 100% drop chance is BEYOND generous. Now you'll get 2 on your first clear of the week for each class. PLUS higher drop chance from overthrow. They are fine as they are.

Edited by ISOL4TE: 7/26/2024 1:25:59 AMFirst you argue that players don't know how to play the game, then you get called out on that by pointing out that they had to have beat dual dungeon to start with, so you shift to entitlement, then numbers get brought up to show you how dumb of a statement that is, so now its that the numbers are made up. Like I said. You are capable of doing nothing except talking out your -blam!-.
-
I never once was proved wrong in anything I've said, or changed my stance on anything xD Keep grasping at straws, you're only sinking yourself.

The class items aren’t good enough to even care about ease of obtaining. Players can go buy OP exotics from Rahool now by just queuing up into the tower. It’s comical how important Bungie is pretending these class items are
-
That's great. Then there's no issue with how rare they are.
-
Rare and source are different. They aren’t rare at all… getting them is just a repetitive slog. I don’t care personally. But it is undeniably incongruent that Bungie is locking them behind the most played out activities in the game exclusively, when you can obtain much better gear by just farming majors until an exotic drops for focusing. Legit “ go buy new exotics from rahool no questions asked. Hell focus them until you get a god roll. But we draw the line at obtaining these class items that look like complete -blam!-, that consist of 90% shard rolls “. Bungie putting their cheeks tier content on a pedestal once again regardless of the bases opinions.

Edited by Shinespark: 7/25/2024 7:22:48 PMPlaying the game isn’t the problem. The problem is that they are heavily incentivized to use a macro to get what they want, because the “clean” alternative takes too long. The drop system encourages people to cheat because it’s so unhealthy! I could completionist Persona 5 Royal twice in the time it takes for me to get the singular Caliban + Synthoceps combo I want. And I’d rather play Persona 5 Royal at that point. Please read the post before commenting about it.

Edited by l Xemnas: 7/25/2024 10:40:54 PMTo be fair Persona has a punk doctor who calls you her little rodent. Destiny is fighting a losing battle on that one.

She can perform her tests on me all day 🥵
