Hi Im Swat

Bungie fan forever. Here since 2008. old

Your previous name 100% violates Bungie's code of conduct, so it was correctly removed. All players get two name changes. If you have any name changes left, you can change it to something which doesn't violate Bungie's code of conduct. If you don't have any name changes left, then you're stuck with the default name. For Bungie's name guide and code of conduct, visit the below links. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/CodeOfConduct Note: As stated in the Bungie Name guide, a forced name change may use up one of your name changes.

Thank you for the insight, I appreciate it. Is any name related to diabetes going to violate the code of conduct? Would something like "Insulin Enjoyer" violate the code?

That reads as drug enjoyer, so yes, it would most likely violate Bungie’s code of conduct. References to drugs are not allowed. I seriously suggest you review the above links I provided. Constantly violating Bungie’s code of conduct could have serious consequences. Trying to bypass the filters and restrictions isn’t going to end well.
Note: I’m not Bungie, everything I mentioned about a possible name not being allowed is just speculation based off of Bungie’s policies.
That does make sense, and again I thank you for some insight (even if you aren't a Bungie employee). For my original name, I assume it was just the reference to diabetes that went against the code? In other words: any name that I would use that has "diabetes" in it probably wouldn't be allowed? I understand why references about medical conditions wouldn't be allowed, but at the same time I personally find such things to be a great way to be a conversation starter and inform people about something they might not know much about. What would you think about something like "Glucose Intolerant"?

Again I am not Bungie. I cannot tell you if a name will be allowed or not. I cannot answer this question. Once more, I suggest you review the links I provided. Violating Bungie’s code of conduct could have serious consequences, such as a game ban. It’s rare they ban for offensive names, but it does happen. All the information you need is in the above links I provided.
