Clan Help

Hi, According to Bungie.net i am currently part of a clan, however in game, I am not. I am looking to create a new clan for myself and some friends and was wondering why I am unable to leave the clan when I am the last member? Error Code: You do not have sufficient permission within the Clan to perform that action. (687) Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Create dummy acct and join clan. Promote that acct to admin then founder. Leave clan with main acct.
