I have posted this already and got no reply so I am posting again.
Couple things up front:
- I check for Windows updates everyday before booting up steam (since that has been a noted issue), make sure the game is up to date, and even close all applications aside from Steam, discord, and destiny.
- I have already checked the Network Optimization page.
- I have single digit packet loss at most, with 800-900mbps up and down, and rebooting my router has not made a difference.
This has been happening for weeks and the game is not playable most days. I have played religiously since the D1 beta days (xbox) and every expansion through TFS (PC).
Bungie, please help. See post below

Hi BNG Help,
I am getting Plum error codes pretty much daily and nothing has solved it for me. I play on PC (Steam) with fiber internet.
This began last season and would be fairly rare and sporadic; however, since TFS launched it has been constant, to the point where I just give up playing some days. The specific error type is usually the "Query Timeout" but I have seen a few other varieties as well.
The exact frequency or timing is inconsistent.
-It has been happening roughly every 15-20 mins (as low as 2 or 3 mins), regardless if solo or running activities with a fireteam, and this is probably the most common for me.
- Other times it can be more random or less frequent, and seem to go away after rebooting, only to happen again a while later.
- I have fully uninstalled the game and reinstalled which has not resolved the problem
I have read every Plum-related forum post here in the last year or two and tried every fix I could find that made sense:
- Uninstall BattleEye in the Destiny directory, then verify the Destiny game files and reinstall BattleEye (I have done this more times than I can count)
- Reboot PC
- Restart modem/router
- Close all other programs except for Destiny & Discord
- Ensure Windows is updated
- Ensure GPU driver is updated
- Uninstall Destiny completely, then reinstall via Steam
- Reinstalled Destiny on a different drive (NVME)
The only fix that worked for more than a short period was completely uninstalling/reinstalling the game, which I cannot and will not do on a daily or weekly basis.
Bungie, I've seen the posts that you are looking into this but it is now Act 2 and it has not improved at all for me.
Thanks for any/all help.

It’s their garbage servers we’ve all been having issues and they don’t care or put it in their weekly updates
